Hi guys,
Well, it’s been just over 2 weeks since I had my last cigarette and I must say it’s been extremely easy with the help of my Skycig. Apart from a bit of a wobbler over the last few days, I can’t say I’ve wanted a ciggy at all.
However, after 2 weeks I’m beginning to find that the skycig, whilst brilliant for what it is, is just not going to cut it for a long term solution. The battery life is pretty appalling, and I even have the luxury of working at a computer all day, so I can keep mine charged up throughout the day, but I’m still finding that they don’t last for very long in the evenings and I’m constantly swapping the batteries over and putting them on charge, so I’m about to start looking for something that will last all day, but isn’t going to cost the earth, as this exercise was also meant to be saving me money after all! Any suggestions?
The cartridges have lasted me well so far, as I’ve also used some nicolite refills which fit, and I still have a number of the skycig ones to use, but I am aware that pretty soon I’m going to have to start re-filling them and so I need to find a liquid (or ten) that I like. I’ve also found that I’m puffing on them far more often that I would have had a cigarette, if that makes any sense? Is this a sign that I’m not using the right strength of nicotine (currently on 11-12mg)???
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Cari.

Hi Karma, No, I can't say I've had any headaches really (well, other than the usual work related stress head!!) so it must just be the nic strength.... I quite like the look of the Riva kit I must say, how much is the discount code for? Thanks.

I got the Riva kit three weeks ago (went the opposite way to you and now also have a SKyCig for convenience. Are you using pre-filled cartridges with your SkyCig? As if so the first thing you'll need to get used to is buyuing juice and filling up your cartos.
The battery lasts a ridiculous amount of time! You must also realise too though that this looks nothing like a normall cig, it's much much bigger, more like a big fountain pen. So you'll need to get used to that feeling too. Well worth it though, especially for me using the clearomiser as that give a very clean vape.

Cambo it's dead simple. The clearomiser holds the juive instead of the 'tip' on your lookalike. It just screws on top of the battery. You press the button whilst you draw, but other than that it's simplicity itself

Cambo, you just screw the cartomisers onto the battery the same as with the skycig & then the cone screws over the top mainly for looks. If you are looking at the Riva kit, the vision ego that comes with it is used as an alternative to the cartomisers & that just screws onto your battery without using the cone. The drip tip that comes with the Riva kit is used with the cartomisers to give a more comfortable vape.

Lol, I crossed posts with you Oneday Cambo, here is a pic showing the parts of the Riva kit - except I forgot to label the cone The cone is in front of the battery & next to the vision ego clearomiser -

Ahhh ok, I get ya now. I've just been using pre-filled cartos so this all looks very confusing at first galnce, but now you've explained it all I can see exactly what you mean and it looks far less daunting. Ok so with both of these kits i'd need to find a liquid I like, bearing in mind that I like menthol and sweet flavours, does anyone have any suggestions?

Lol, I'm not going to be much help with the e-liquid as I don't like sweet flavours or menthol I did have a free sample of Grizwalds bannoffe pie sent with one of my orders from Vape Escape, & it really did taste a lot like banoffee pie

Hi Cambo, I bought a Riva kit almost 3 weeks ago, i found it daunting when i received it as it looks different from the cig lool alike ecigs, my battery lasts me a day and a half and i vape non stop all day and all night, i think the clearomiser and cartridges are personal preference but personally i refer the clearo's it's a lot easier to fill and see when you need to top up, you will not be disappointed if you go for a Riva kit, as for the flavours i cannot help ypu on that because i still cannot find my "all day vape" try vapeescape's pic n pix for a few flavours that sound appealing to you, dont waste your money on bigger bottles until you know what flavours you like, as i have done

Cambo I'd recommend you buy a selection of 5ml juices to try to begin with. If you buy your kit from VapeEscape they do a pik'n'mix range. The same discount code applies and if you buy at the same tima as your kit you will save on postage
