Thanks for the reply Esme ,
Costs are not important as it's the missus that's got to buy it (Xmas) , I would request a Provari but as we're expecting a new arrival the first week of Dec so I don't want her spending to much on me I'm looking to getting something different to the Ego's and I do like the look of the Gripper and can see it fitting comfortably in the hand rather than holding on to a tube .

Hi all ,
Over a month now and stinky free but , although I'm extremely happy Ego C 1000 upgrade batts and Kanger cartos , I reckon I need to step up to a variable voltage mod . I've been looking about various sites but one that has caught my eye is the Gripper and was wondering if anyone here has/is using one and their thoughts about it's performance before putting one on my Xmas list .
kind regards Greendollar

Hi , No , there's not much difference in their performance but Kangers just edge it for me Shelly , they hold abit more juice, produce abit more vape and , for me , are worth the little bit more they cost .

Hi Guys, Thanks for your responses, so friendly on here. Yeah it is a case of each to their own and I am sure over the next week and months all manner of changes will happen. Can anybody recommend a menthol juice. I enjoyed the taste on e-lites and ought to get a liquid on board. Also how long do cartomisers generally last? Karma, I haven't tried black cat, what type of flavour is it, I have seen it mentioned on the forum a few times. Cheers for your help guys Well done , 4 weeks for me and our vaping experience has been very similar , I also couldn't get on with the clearomisers and much prefer the cartos (Kangers over Boges). Give it a couple of weeks and spark up a stinky , you'll be surprised at just how well your taste buds are improving as they will taste vile .

Not sure what to try next or if I'll even bother ....as the saying goes .......if it ain't broke , why fix it .......unless there's something else out there ???? I'd suggest the Vivi Nova's GD if you or anyone else has a desire to try something different for a relatively modest outlay. They're a doddle to use, give a great vape and save quite so much carto topping up, if you're not using a Tank with them. Plus the heads can be rewicked if you want to have dabble there . . . although again, replacement heads are inexpensive to buy. www.vapeescape.co.uk/vision-vivi-nova-v2.5-long-wick~371www.vapeescape.co.uk/mini-nova~404Thanks Perp , They look they operate very much like the V3 Clearomiser which I'm not that keen on , not consistant enough for me , I'll check out some reviews on the Vivi-Nova though . Next will be a mixing kit and trying my hand at making my own juice but that'll have to be on my Xmas list .

Ditto from me on the Kanger Cartos GD . . . I much prefer them for some reason to Boges. So do I Perp , I've not been vaping long but I tried the clearomisers , found them a bit hit and miss , then tried the Boge 510's and thought they were fantastic but then tried the Kangers .....even better , more vape , better throat hit . They do leak if you overfill them but that's easily rectified . Not sure what to try next or if I'll even bother ....as the saying goes .......if it ain't broke , why fix it .......unless there's something else out there ????

Hi ,
I packed in the stinkies about 3 weeks ago , a mate was telling about a work colleague who smoked 60 a day and switched to vaping and hadn't touched a real fag since .
I saw an ad in the paper that had the SkyCig on offer for £15 so bought one but had the same problem as you , batteries were useless and they didn't quite hit the spot , if you know what I mean but they did stop the craving .
I done abit of research and came across Vape Escape who I'd highly recommend and ordered the 1000 Ultimate Starter Kit . It arrived the following day .
It's been 3 weeks now , I did light up a stinky last week out of curiosty ( it was vile ) and although it's not quite the same as smoking the real thing it's definitely got me off the expensive stinkies with no problems .
I've tried everthing , patches , gum , nicorettes and even got the doc to put me on Champix , all to no avail /
As I see it I haven't given up smoking but have found a much cleaner way of getting my nicotine fix .
I'm using cartomisers (Boges & Kangers ) with my 1000 mah Ego's at the mo , I've tried flavoured e-liquids but found them abit sickly for my taste so I'm sticking with Vape Escape's Deluxe which is lovely ( if you do buy a starter kit get plenty of juice , 30ml lasting about a week for me ) .
Now I've got the kit I reckon it's gonna cost me no more than £15 a week ( much better than the£50+ I was spending) for carts and juice and I'm definitely feeling the benefits already , no wheezing no coughing , wife and kids alot happier not having to put up with me stinking the house out and I don't have to listen to the kids telling that I'm gonna die if don't stop smoking which is a bonus .
If you've got some spare cash it's definitely worth getting a decent kit to get started . Good Luck

Hi , I've just taken delivery of some LR Kanger carts myself after trying out the LR Boges , there's not much in it but I do prefer the Kangers , they seem to produce slightly more vape .....I would invest in a drip tip though as they get quite hot .

Hi all ,
I've just started on the vaping road (3 weeks no fags) . I treated myself to VapeEscapes Vision 1000 Ultimate starter kit after trying the Skycig . Hopefully someone here maybe able to answer a couple questions on mixing e-juice that I have .
How much would I be saving on a 30 ml bottle of juice (currently paying £10 ish at the mo) if I mixed some myself ?
Is there a one-stop shop/site where I can get all the supplies I need to be able to mix ?
kind regards Greendollar
