Chrissie :"VIP, I think you might find it interesting, if you can find the time, to join ECF & see what they think about your stance" I'm an employee and this is the stance of the company. 42,000 members of a board are not accountable should anything untoward happen, but a company is held accountable. Sadly, we really do not have time to interact on various message boards. No offense intended, but I tend to find monitoring message boards is a full-time job in itself. As for personal vaping... I first tried e-cigs when I started working for VIP last year. I was in the process of giving up analogs at that time and still smoked on a social basis. Since then I have compared 3 competitor rechargeable ecigs and sampled 3 other brands of disposable e-cig supplied by our buying guys for research purposes. I neither smoke analogs or vape anymore, but I have converted a few friends along the way.

buckowski :"So that would suggest you would recommend only to use either pre-filled cartomisers / cartridges?" Yes, that's right. Without pushing any particular brand and I'm asuming everyone here already knows how carts differ between suppliers, but from a safety aspect, prefilled everytime.

perpetuaThis is the only e-cigarette forum I've posted on. There is not enough hours in the day to read posts and participate on every forum I'm on Kate from Vapersnetwork mailing list and receive her e-mails from time to time about the misguided MHRA. We have all read the same articles and the outcome appears to have been decided. I don't think there is any need for immediate concern, but some form of regulation long term is inevitable.

Bucko :
Cartomizers are filled by machines.
Liquid nicotine is toxic and even in minute doses can be fatal. It is the stance of VIP, that liquid nicotine and e-liquid should only be handled by those qualified to work with dangerous materials.
Is it really worth taking risks? Just imagine one fatality and how much 'additional' damage would be caused to the industry?
It is understandable forums are full of personal opinons and experiences, but from a corporate, legal, and safety perspective VIP simply do not advocate DIY refilling and do not sell e-liquids.

Chrissie :"I'm guessing that VIP has some sort of web tracking (as do many sites) & followed me back here after | visited their site " Spot on If there was no link to VIP, we would have been none the wiser to this situation. sarkycow73 :The phones never stop ringing to the point they give me a headache... namely because the staff deal with both VIP and Musthave enquiries. E-mailing is logged and is responded to far quicker, even more so with Matt looking after that area. Take care, and thanks for choosing VIP.

First of all, I would like to say hello to all and address a few issues. sarkycow73 - The VIP battery is based on the RN4081 battery. Sorry to hear about the speed of delivery. Contact Customer Services and say you have spoken to Dave Ryder for 10% off your next order. As for better deals, VIP products are of the highest quality and our prices are very competitive. We suggest using our cartomizers and do not recommend refilling them due to health reasons and risk of leakage. Chrissie : "The info on them was one of the many things we had to delete from our e-cig eBay group. But from memory I'm fairly certain they where a vendor I contacted for more info & they just didn't bother replying." We would be very interested to know which info you refer to? We have not received a request for any information. You are free to contact us on our phone number, or message me with a contact number for yourself and I would be glad to address any concerns. "stupid things like each cartomiser is the equivalent of 40 cigarettes !" Chrissie : They are comparable figures. There are three ex-smokers in this office who have trialed VIP cartomizers and found the cigarette equivalent to be accurate in addition to factory tests. A cigarette comparison is a good indication of how long a cartomizer will last and how many are needed. Without this, customers would have no idea of what they are buying. Here is a little bit about our history. VIP is owned by Musthave Ltd, www.musthaveit.com which is large indepedent retailer and a Dyson, Kenwoord and Karcher authorized supplier, trading online since 2004. Musthave was the original Njoy supplier in the UK. However, in late 2008 Musthave funded research for a new brand of electronic cigarette, forming VIP Electronic Cigarette in 2009. We have many existing ecig users who switched to VIP from other well known brands.
