Don't forget to use the code for the skycig Adam, as without it, the kit is very expensive. You will get 5 prefilled cartomisers with the kit but there is no way they will last the equivalent of 7 packs of ciggies as they claim, more like just a couple of packs. You can buy the replacement cartomisers that fit the skycig form most of the good vendors - for example these are good prefilled ones (they can be refilled with e-liquid) - www.vapeescape.co.uk/sd-keyring-prefilled-cartomisers~272Or these empty ones that you can fill straight away with e-liquid of your choice - www.vapeescape.co.uk/boge-510-standard-resistance-%285%29~145The above vendor does a very good range of e-liquid & I would suggest you start off with either 12mg or 18mg strength. Use discount code allabout for 10% off anything from Vape Escape. Brilliant! That's all the advice I need for now. Thanks again for all your help everyone.

Hello & welcome Adam The e-cigs that look like real cigarettes aren't really the best to go for as their battery life isn't very good due to their size. However, as you aren't a really heavy smoker, you might be OK with a ciggie lookalike kit. The best deal at the moment is a skycig (will find the discount code for you in a minute), it has a 510 thread which means you can buy the replacement cartomisers for it far cheaper from just about any UK vendor. Very helpful, thanks a lot. Like I was saying previously, the reason I would prefer a lookalike relates more to the psychological side of it more than anything else. That might sound odd but It was definitely one of things that impressed me on my mates. I just think it would work for me I guess.

Hello and Have you tried a E-cig?Does it DEFINATELY have to look like a cigarette or could you cope with something cigar sized? How long do you need it to last before needing a charge? Let us know and we'll give you some suggestions. I would prefer it to look like a real cig just because I think that would work better for me from a psychological perspective if you can understand that. I wouldn’t require long battery life, I work on a PC all day so it can be charged as and when. Thanks for the response.

Hi all,
I'm looking to invest in an e-cig in the next few days and am confused/blown away by the incredible amount of info and choice out there. I’ve been smoking consistently for around 15 years and am desperate to give up. The best I’ve managed is 3 weeks off which is pretty pathetic. I was out over the weekend and had a blast on a mates, I couldn’t believe how much it felt like a genuine cigarette, which has prompted me to give it a go.
My ideal scenario would be to get something that looks like a cigarette and ultimately is as close as realistically possible to what I’m smoking right now in terms of strength of hit. I need to have that feeling in my throat like you would taking a deep drag from a cigarette.
My current habit is approx 10/15 a day with a nicotine content of 0.8 The actual brand is B&H Silver, if that’s of any help.
Any feedback would be massively appreciated.
Adam.
(Great forum by the way ! Buckets of top info for the confused newbie like myself)
