So vaping last night, picked up my Vamo and it didn't fire, figured it was the battery but felt it a bit odd as battery was still showing 3.7v. Replaced it with a fresh 18650 - screen flashes 3 times and nothing else. Help, anyone? Edit - LOL, which idiot forgot to turn it (back) on then? Phew. I won't delete this post it may help other idiots/people having a bad day.

Whats the best batteries to use in the vamo , flat head or nipple head ones, also how high on the 18650 can you go to 2200mah and finally its better to use the imr protected batteris always, thanx guys. Kind of interested in the answer to this myself, I'm just using a couple of "Torchy" 2800mAh branded 18650's which I purchased for my MTB lights, bought from ebay, they're nipple headed.

Fitzroy - when you say vaping around the 8w mark, what's your voltage at that point? Do you leave that at 3.0v (the default), or do you change that around a bit too? Just getting used to my Vamo, so any information is really helpful, thanks! Andy AndyB explained it perfectly, it's either volts in VV mode or watts is VW mode. I guess the idea is that if you change your tank/cartomiser or whatever to one with a different resistance you will get the same hit as the voltage will be adjusted automatically. Not sure if you're getting confused by holding down the "-" (left hand small button) this gives you how much power is left in your battery. According to the info on my battery (18650) it's fully charged at 4.2v and "empty" at 2.75v.

I'm using a Vivi Nova mini (pilfered from my Ego-C twist for the mo.) with the low resistance wick in, measures 2.0/2.1 Ohms on the Vamo, currently vaping at anywhere between 7.5-8.5w using Decadent Vapours Lime Zinger. Yum, though not a patch on the Mentholyptus.

Thanks sadie but the chap made it pretty clear they were sold with a 30 day warranty (not sure if that's actually legal, but whatever) but also offered to take a look at them. Anyway pushed me towards asking for a Vamo for Xmas.

Hi all, well there I was pretty happy with the Ego-C (+a twist) kit that I've assembled over the last month or so happy until yesterday when one of the regular (Joyetech) 900 mAh batteries refused to take any charge.
I contacted the vendor and he suggested cleaning out the terminal/connector and raising the centre pin, both of which I tried to no avail.
Now given that I have had three (and latterly 4) ego-C batteries for a couple of months I'm pretty gutted that one of them has died so quickly, it's been charged under 10 times (I'm not a hugely heavy vaper) is it really worth buying branded Joyetech stuff over some of the clones?

Thanks Clutter, I was looking at the Boge Cartomisers, although just read "Am I the only concerned one?" thread and there was mention of Bogegate - what's that all about? Another question I have about cartomisers is can you change flavours? It's easy with a tank, just wash it and dry it and you're good to go but cartomisers with filler material do they have a flavour hangover? Is it merely a case of reserving the particular cartomiser for similar flavours? Thanks again.

So I've been rocking my Ego C and Ego C Twists for a couple of months, so time to change things around I reckon. I've been using the Ego C tanks, which are ok and have a Vivi Nova which I like a lot.
What other "delivery systems" should I consider, cartomisers? Anything offer anything different/better than the tank/Vivi Nova (mini) that I've been using?
Thanks in advance

I'm a big fan of Wrigley's Airwave chewing gum particularly the Black Mint and Cherry Menthol flavours, can anyone recommend any ejuice similar in flavour?
