That looks pretty interesting, thank you. Must point out it doesnt work with all clone kayfuns depending on the cap/chimney but does work with all the originals. Ive got a clone kayfil here you can have if you still use your Kfuns regular. I dont really need it as I glued all me chimneys to the top caps so I can just unscrew the base like a subtank. Thank you for the offer but to be honest i don't think i would use it that much. Ta Kev

Sorry I hadn't picked up on some of your acronyms, as I have limited knowledge in this area, but had researched requirements for one CCTV project a while ago... but things / technology moves that fast these days! (NVR = network video recorder, PoE = Power over Internet) Maybe someone else has more current knowledge [ETA] ebayThank you for the links

Hi does anyone have any knowledge/experience with CCTV systems. I’m looking to purchase a full system but it’s a mine field out there.
I’ve seen a full system setup running and i thought was pretty good, it was a UNV system, NVR with 4 MP POE cameras but unfortunately not available to general public trade only.
The other system i like is Hikvision system pretty similar spec the first one i mentioned. Any suggestions or comments would be truly welcomed. Budget is around £700 ish
Cheers Kev

Interesting. Very interesting. Having just for the first time tried casting a few buttons (for a home brew mod) I can say there is clearly a lot of different sorts of Epoxy and Polyurethane resins that can be used for casting. The one poly resin I tried set with a lot of trapped bubbles within the cast. Perhaps that de-gassing chamber spoken of earlier by piper1 might help prevent that. It mixed clear but set opaque white within 20 or so minutes. But there are clearly lots of types... I found both the epoxy I used and the one poly resin I tried were both happy to accept alcohol based colouring agents/dyes to tint the final product. I've heard of other solid based (powder) colouring agents that are suitable for epoxy castings and maybe they might also work with poly based resins too. Yes the extraction chamber will reduce air bubbles. Should of mentioned that I have also managed to obtain an old painters compression chamber that was in need of a good clean up and all the valves and gauges replacing. This will reduce the size of the air bubbles which are unable to be detected by the mark one eye ball, not really put this bit to test just yet.

The silicone moulds are really easy to make, loads of good vids on YouTube. I also made a De-gassing chamber to suck all the air out of the silicone but not all silicone's require this procedure.
