stokey1986, if you had read through more of this thread, you would of noticed: Min has never ever sent anyone an email, only the automatic one you recieve when you place an order and when the item is shipped, he doesnt know english!, he hasnt up to recently had any english speaking staff or staff that can type english onboard. Robbie kindly advertised the vamo as a bargain he came across on the internet, and choose to share it with us (thankyou Rob) so we all choose to buy a bargain from a chinese seller, we all know there is risks when buying from abroad, but as i said we all love a bargain and we go for it, its only been over the xmas period and when min's website got hacked that problems started to occur, up untill then, there is a few hundred members on here that have been very happy with their purchases, let alone the other forums on the net. the guy has offered you a refund, thats more then some chinese sellers would do. I'm not having a dig but maybe it would be better for you to buy with uk vendors in future. Sadie, I have been following the thread, and i dont think it's topo much of an ask to contact someone via email in this day and age, particularly when we are buying from an onloine merchant. Perhaps if you had read the thread properly and in particular, my postws, you would see that I ordered on 30th November, well before any of these issues happened and I was expecting it to arrive before Christmas as is normally the case. I buy lots from China, probably spend up to £50 a month buying from sites in China for various things and have never ahd an issue like this yet when I cannot get in touch with someone so I dont see it as a risk at all. Plus the fact that at the time of writing, he has not offered me a refund so again, perhaps read the thread and then you would understand my frustration. Also, I have thanked Robby many times and have not once blamed him for anything. As I said in previous posts, it isnt his fault, he found a bargain and we went for it. The reason I sought advice and help from RObby was that he seems to have a better relationship with him than others.

Graeme, if I had a boss like you I would be over the moon - giving someone a big thumbs up for
1."having to deal with orders" sorry, he's a vendor - if he wants to sell them then really he should deal with that. It's not like orders for a vendor are a negative thing - that's how they make money. 2. "having to deal with irate customers" - theyre only irate because he has failed to fulfil the orders or at least keep people informed. He is there to provide a product and a service and so far, he has my money but has provided neither! 3. I agree it may be difficult having to work through all of the orders whilst dealing with the issues but it is his own fault really. He could have put a stop to this much sooner by perhaps putting a temporary hold on the site to stop him being overstretched with orders.
Yes, i think youa re maybe looking at it through rose tinted specs as you have yours, I have been waiting nearly 2 months and so far, I am out of pocket and the reason for my major frustration is that he doesnt even reply to emails I have sent to him through numerous ways.
As I have said previously, problems happen but the best way to deal with it and keep people happy is have decent customer service and keep people informed of what is going on with their orders. It's not like we havent paid for a service!

I dont even want a refund though, I just want the vamo I ordered almost 2 months ago but have been forced to go through paypal to chase a refund now. If he was jsut to say I'm sorry for the delay and mix up, I will send it out to you via ems so I dont have to wait too much longer, I would be more than happy!

HI Robby, order number is 000004550.
I understand that he has sent it etc but for him to just not contact people and leave them hanging, tell people to raise paypal disputes and then not answer to them etc is shocking. I work in a c ustomer facing role and if I treated my customers like that, I wouldnt have any left - especially in a relatively niche market.

You changed that last minute Robby yes there was a 50ml bottle of red bull liquid - I emailed him and said that he is ok to refund me for the e liquid and I will just take the vamo but surprise, surprise, he has not got back in touch. Now I am left in the situation that I was going to give my mum my lavatube but she is having to wait too!

First you raise a dispute which is basically if they are not getting in touch, which they didnt so you raise a claim. Then they get 10 days to reply to you or they refund the money as a matter of course. He left it 4 days then sent them the tracking number, which basically gives no info so it looks like he is trying to fight it rather than giving me my money back - starting to think that he may well be a rip off merchant!

The last time anything tracked (RA626253842CN) was 07/12/12 and it says Departure from outward office of exchange. I'm pretty pissed off with this. He said if we raise a paypal dispute he will refund but this is not the case. I have ordered so many items from China over the years and have never had issues like this before - been waiting nearly 2 months now and all i want is my vamo. I would be quite happy if he was to get in touch and say, im sorry for this, I will send you another one and perhaps send it by EMS so I can get it a bit quicker!

Higher powered engines have higher rpm. If your only using it on the road, you don't need the high end revs the engine is built to withstand so actually, bigger engines break down less than small engines. Just saying... Lol But then, most cars designed to be run at high end revs shoudl be run at high end revs, not doing so is usually detrimental and so may cause issues - also, just saying lol!

likening to a car isnt at all silly... trying to say an Aston Martin is less reliable than a peugeot 106 truly is ...you clearly dont see the benefits of higher quality craftsmanship and technology Really.... ? I think if you look into it, the more expensive cars usually require more maintenance due to higher powered engines etc. But I still know which one I would prefer as when buying a car, reliability is not the main deciding factor. I was simply stating that saying a provari is less likely to fail in no way would justify the 10x price tag of a piece of equipment that is far superior technology wise and you would still have enough in the bank to replace it 10 times over.
