USB is for upgrades only, and battery life is pretty average for a TC device (I get through loads of batteries & juice... I vape too much) Thanks! Pity as I don't have a battery charger so need to be able to charge via usb.

My Koopor arrived this morning, and it is a really nice little mod, not much bigger than an iStick and a lot easier on the hand than the Xcube. TC seems to work well, and it feels solid as a rock Can the Koopor be charged via usb? What's the battery life like?

Another inexpensive mod with a big fixed battery and good performance is the Athena Smart-40 available from Vape-it UK for £25 but only in pink. 4200mah, floating 510 pin, atomizer resistance 0.5ohm-4.0ohm, adjustable 7w - 40w. Also available at Fasttech with more colours for £27 if you don't mind waiting. Thanks. Will check out some reviews.

I have both the MVP3 and the Sig 75w, and they are both great mods. I am using the Sigelei constantly, and with what for me is more vaping than usual as I'm not at work, a Samsung 35r lasts almost exactly 24 hours - I find I'm changing batteries at around 3pm! The MVP3 is a little larger, and you would get well over 2 days on a charge, but the Sigelei is a great solid mod with a clear screen, and it fits my (smallish) hand perfectly. Try to find someone who has one that you can pick up, you will love it! Thanks. My best friend just ordered one and I'll be seeing her Monday so will get chance to have a proper look and a vape. Wish I knew someone with a 100w istick. It's £32 at sr vapes and seems like a lot of mod for the money. But the sig 75 just looks stunning. And the battery of the MVP really appeals. Seriously, I thought I was over shinyitus. Happy with my 20w isticks and protank 2 then my friend went and bought a subtank and I'm back down the shinyitus rabbit hole haha.

I like the MVP3 but having seen one a few weeks back it's really oddly shaped imho. It's tall but slim. But the MVP's are generally built like tanks aren't they. I also quite like the 50w I stick but the auto fire issues reported scare me. Saw this little 50w mod on focal today, quite like the look of it and only £25 Never heard of the company though so not sure what the quality is like. focalecig.com/Product/Jumper50W-Variable-Wattage-VW-Mini-Box-ModSilver-29172That's nice actually. A lot like the 40w iStick which isn't a bad thing in my book.

Jerri are you aware the IPV D2 doesn't do stepdown? Might not be an issue depends on what resistance you vape at but if you vape at 0.5ohm for instance it will fire at 30w on a fully charged battery even if you set it lower. It will always only fire down to the volts the battery can deliver on it's charge. You can use an ohms law calculator to see the minimum watts a fully charged battery will deliver for different resistances. www.steam-engine.org/ohm.asp I was and was actually just googling what that meant because to be honest I had zero idea. I vape from 0.5-1.5 so the IPV is out.

Thanks! That's definitely on the list then. I'm not interested in TC and a day and a half is good enough for me. Yeah i'm not sure how these people who say they get through a battery in 4 or 5 hours manage it, they must be constantly chain vaping at high watts or something. Like i said i do tend to have a couple of mods on the go rather than just the one but even taking that into account they must be caning the thing. With a Subtank Mini at 25-30w which seems to be the kind of thing you'll be using it for it lasts between a day to a day and a half with a 25r battery. Yeah I swap and change during the day too. I kind of have a short list. The sig 75 The IPV D2 The istick 100w The MVP 3 pro. The smok kooper mini.

Build one its the only way to get what you want at a very low price I wouldn't even know where to start. Plus there is so much gear about right now I'm sure it would cost me a lot more to build my own than it would to just buy one.

I've seen a few reviews mention god awful battery life. Is that not the case? It's ok in VW mode, is a bit more power hungry in TC mode though. A freshly charged battery lsts me a day and half although i don't tend to use the same device all day, usually have a couple of mods on the go at once. Thanks! That's definitely on the list then. I'm not interested in TC and a day and a half is good enough for me.

What about a subox kit from my epack for £50 then sell the subtank? you would need a 18650, but it can be charged via the USB? Sorry. Will change the OP. Want a spring loaded 510 and I don't believe the subox has one.

I totally don't need a new mod. Which obviously means I HAVE to buy one.
Ordered a new tank last night so clearly need a new mod to put it on (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!).
Requirements.
I have a smok m80 a coolfire 4 and a 40w istick so not those as I fancy something new.
Built in battery or usb charge port (I no longer have a charger and have no intentions of buying one).
40w minimum. I usually vape around 20 besides when using a dripper then it's around 40/50.
Spring loaded 510. SS threads.
Budget is a firm £40
UK sellers preferred.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Jerri As the iStick40 has TC, I believe it does more coil monitoring which is why the battery runs down faster. Not sure if it *should* monitor the coil in watts mode, but maybe it does. Then again, I might be talking out my ass as I don't have one. But TC devices have to do more *off-line* stuff. So it may me taking measurements of the coil even if it is not being used. Investigate that if it worries you. The answer is out there somewhere, and it seems nobody here knows yet. If you find out anything new, please let us know too. Thanks It doesn't worry me in the slightest. I don't use nor am I interested in the TC mode. I just wanted a small mod like the 20w version. I'm perfectly happy with it as it is. Yes the battery isn't amazing but I've yet to see or find a mod that is perfect in every way.
