Greigster 300f is nearly as dark as 400f.... Shouldn't be doing that... Strange that the 340, 360 and 380 are not as charred. I will make a new coil and re-test to see if that helps. |

Just did a test on mine after seeing yours letsavit and I also get a little charring, although not as bad as yours. Dry clean coil reading .18ohms at 20 Joules/watts. From 300f upto 460f in 20f increments, fire button held for 10 seconds at each temperature. Wisps of smoke from cotton at 400f and above.   |

Received mine this morning spent a fair bit of time fiddling and setting it up as in the guide coiled at 0.5ohm filled her up with some banana custard and omg does it vape like a champion :-) a fiddly bugger to build but it's well worth the effort Great news Matty, and you are only just up the road from me at Pakefield, so I know where to come when mine finally arrives  |

I have mine set at powerful and the firing is instantaneous at 20 joules/watts 460f on a Subtank Mini
Thick dense smooth vapour without any delay, I am very impressed.

Right what's this "J" ...kinda know but how does it relate to the watts I have been using for my vaping life? 1 Joule = 1 Watt for 1 second or something along those lines, so I have read. It seems that you can use the same level of Joules as Watts.....so 20 Joules is more or less the same as 20 Watts.  |

You are not the only one without one of these. Mine was despatched from GB on 18th March and 21 days later, it is still not here.....others have received them in 12 days I am not a very patient chap!!  Mine 'shipped on 18th', still yet to see my gearbest ones. Any day now  Cheers Tom, at least it sounds like there must be a batch floating around somewhere. |

Greigster you made the right choice. I done no research on this mod, just knew this chip works and it does, been using for last hour, took half of that to work out how to set it up...! Running the same as the the DNA40 with extra features. The mod itself is so much nicer than the other... I was not sure whether to go for this or the VS DNA40........I am glad I chose this one. It oozes quality and although it was a lot of dosh, it was worth every penny.  |
