How is it with the spring loaded 510? Any loss of power?

Vaped my Kanger Subtank to dry and never had a hint of a dry hit, TC was cutting in at 2.3 watts at its driest point . I have found that the TC has been cutting in at around 12 and a bit watts and after following this thread, the advice has been possible slow wicking.
I have removed the Jap Cotton and dry burnt the coil, washed it all and the coil is still showing the same as before at 0.13 ohms.
My Jap cotton wick was inserted so that it was not tight or loose and moved freely side to side.

My new KGD wick has been reduced by about a third in thickness and when inserted through the coil, it barely fills it internal diameter, (so, very loose)
Vaped at 20 watts and it is way too strong, so reduced to 15 watts. The TC is now cutting in at 14.9 watts and was even showing spot on my 15 watts.

Just fired it for a direct lung draw and went to 14.9w dropped in stages to 14.1w and back up to 15w over the course of a 6 second draw with increased flavour over my previous wick.

Looks like juice flow has been much improves with a lot less cotton.

Same for me, TC cuts in and out as necessary. I have mine set to 20w and 420f.....the TC cuts in and shows 12.8 ish but does vary. I am not sure what to do to stop it or even if it is that important. The TC works and I am getting the vape I want. It just seems a "Set and Forget" type system, I am well pleased.

I have never had a problem with postimage, always work fine for me but I have noticed that the site is very sluggish today!
