Can't post images

Hi Chrissie

I'm having a problem with PostImage - when I try to add an image to a post, it goes through the motions of uploading then says "invalid image". It does this with uploads and url's

Any ideas (I have tried clearing my cache)

what img links you using try using imgur.com/ never fails on me hope that helps

I'm using the "Add image to post" button at the top left of the reply box

That image (screen shot) seems to have posted okay, maybe it is the file format that is causing the problem ?

OneDay I've found postimage to be very hit and miss from when it was introduced, and quite often get the same response. If it doesn't work first time, I just use Photobucket. Not much help I know, but at least it's not just you.

I have never had a problem with postimage, always work fine for me but I have noticed that the site is very sluggish today!

I`ve had trouble in the past hour, the whole forum seems slow to me, done all the usual stuff. Other sites seem fine.

I had to post that by first uploading it to Photobucket and then pasting the url - PostImage should remove the need to upload pics to another site like Photobucket

Yes the site was really slow for me - kept getting gateway timed out. It seems ok now.

Sorry you're having problems, OneDay, frustrating.

I could never use 'add image' on here, it was fail every time unless I opened Chrome. Since an IE update it has started working for me, although, it still sometimes falters. None of that helps or explains why you are having problems.

I'm using Chrome Jess. Never had any problems until now.

I've been having the same issue for a few days now OneDay and not for the first time.

The last time, I updated Java and rebooted my machine, still didn't fix it, but after a couple more days it just started working again.

I updated Java yesterday and have rebooted a few times since, but just checked and it's still not working... I'm just hoping it fixes itself again within the next few days

Just trying it using chrome. Don't think I've tried it before.
