Thanks Greigster, just know that if its shipped via DHL I will pay duty, they work hand in glove with customs and excise. They are a bunch of K*^%s! sorry can't remember how to spell it but you probably know what I mean.  How are you getting on with your mod? It is working nicely although a tad temperamental.... Most probably down to my coils or the subtank. I am getting a problem where after it has been left standing, it shows as zero ohms when fired, but if I unscrew the attie and put it back on, I press the fire button and it asks if existing coil or new one, then it fires fine. I am away from home until Tuesday so when I get back, I will play with different wires and attie. I am looking forward to recoiling the Kanger OCC head using ni200 |

I got sent a text message to my house phone which I think gets converted to a robotic speech message, asking you to log on to DHL webb page where you can pop in your reference number given by the robot and pay the bill.

Thanks macmagoo, it certainly is a big learning curve. I have just recoiled my subtank with 8/9 wraps and it has come out at .16ohms and seems to be working fine now. My first coil was not being held very well but on my second coil, I have wrapped the legs around the back of the screws which seems to have made a firm connection. 20w at 420f and so far jobs a good un. |

VapingBadI wondered how long it would be before someone came up with a plan for coiling the OCC heads with ni200. I purchased several spare heads with my subtank so will have a play. Exciting times ahead

Greigster try and see if it will scorch dry cotton at 490F, around there should scorch cotton and not rayon, if it does this OK it means that your wicking or airflow need improving or you need more wraps on the coil. Thanks for that VB, my resistance is coming and going so it may be that the way the wires are held/clamped by the Subtank could be my problem. I will recoil it tomorrow and try and hold the wires in a different way. I will also try a nickel build on the Lemo, which holds the wire in a different way. |

The coil is good, build and resistance, I dont get it lol. It`s as if it isnt wicking properly, so compensating and protecting the cotton by reducing the watts, but shouldn`t be getting that low. , what temp. do you have yours set at? |

Batteries inserted but they seem a little long and causes the battery caps to sit proud of the mod by 1.5mm ish Are the batteries flat tops? Efest IMR 2100 mah 30amp button tops. |

To get a decent hit I have had to wind the temp up to 490f but presumably that could burn the cotton? How do I get a bigger hit and still stay within the non burn range for the cotton, do I need to change wire thickness, do more wraps, drop the ohms? robby it is the Kanger Mini Subtank. |

So, I was about to set up the mod and one of my Efest 30amp batteries was at 3.9v so I was delayed until charged. My first ni200 coil seemed to have gone well. Came out at .17ohm Batteries inserted but they seem a little long and causes the battery caps to sit proud of the mod by 1.5mm ish Set the temp. to 420f and 30 watts. It fire fine but after an 8 second draw, the screen shows between 6 and 8 watts for a few seconds then reverts back to the 30 watts I have set it to.    |

I am just sat here looking at it, it is very pretty. It was ice cold with lots of condensation from out of the packing so I have just been letting it come up to temperature.
I have been reading the Ni200 thread on here but I think I need to read it again, just to be sure.
If I am doing a single coil using the .25 ni200 not twisted, what internal diameter and how many wraps would you advise?
