My cheaper one is from a member called Brad on UKV.Its a dual 18650 box with display. You can turn the digital display off if you want via a switch inside the mod.It hits hard, very hard and the battery runtime is unreal.I usually get atleast 2-3 days vaping at between 4-5.5v from the batteries. Its a great mod,not the best looking but the vape is equal to the Provari.I must get a review up,will do it at the weekend when i have more time. Edit to add,it goes from 3.4-6v and is easily adjusted by a small screwdriver.

It was displaying the E4 error code but its all sorted now and was due to a bad atomiser coil.I agree that the Provari is mint but to be honest my cheaper £40 VV is performing just as good.Im so impressed with it im seriously considering selling my Vari

Yes Steve,im sure that is the case. When i explained to Provape i was using a rebuildable they told me that the E4s were definately happening due to my coil dramatically varying in resistance. After examining the suspect coil it appears that i hadnt wrapped the wire round the wick tight enough.I hate wrapping the wire round the wick to tight as it tends to burn the wick.I usually get the balance perfect but this time i had made a mistake Oh well,i will always double check my coils from now on.If you are using a rebuildable on the Provari and get an E4 error dont panic, its more than likely a coil change will sort the problem.Mine is working perfectly again now,you live and learn and im glad i now realise that E4 is an atomiser problem and not a problem with the device.

lol Lilac You are very correct though.Perpy you have hit the nail on the head,i was told that most of the E4 errors occur when using rebuildables.I will now concentrate and make each coil with great care.In saying that its the first time ive rushed and messed one up, so not bad going at all.Always lessons to be learned no matter how long you have vaped for.

I was worried also mate, ive had it a good 7-8 months and never seen an E4 code before. It says on Provape site to contact them IF the code persists. After speaking to them in great detail, it seems that the odd E4 code is generally down to a bad atomiser.Since adding a new coil to my RTA all is fine again and its working great with everything else ive put on it.I was told that the only time it needs sent back is if your getting constant E4 errors.I cant complain anyway as its been vaped heavily for around 8 months, even if it did die i reckon ive had my moneys worth of usage out of it

I will get a review of it up over the weekend mate. Its a great VV mod and to be honest im enjoying it more than the Provari. It hits much harder as it has no limitations.Im vaping a 1.7ohm coil at 4.7v and it hits the spot like a freight train As for the Provari, ive used my RTA on it with a new coil fitted for an hour or so now and all seems to be fine.Ive tried Boge cartos, dual coils and clearomisers and no problems at all.Provape really do know what they are on about,it seems my coil on the RTA was causing the problem all along. My Vari seems to be fine, all functions are performing like they should and if you try to bump an atty up to high im still getting the E2 error code.Oh well,i will see how it goes

Your rite Perpy,i always knew this could happen with the Vari.Ive had a message back saying that when the E4 error code comes and goes(which it is on mine)it can be due to the atomiser being at fault.Ive only been using the RTA, so i will make a new coil and see how it goes.Im also going to dig out other atomisers and cartomisers to see if this code will go away.David insists that it is perfectly normal to get the odd E4 code and nothing to worry about.I always thought E4 was serious and required the mod to be sent back to Provape.Oh well,i will go and try some other gear and see what happens.Fingers crossed i can shake this blasted E4 thing for good Its strange as the E4 code comes on,then it vapes o.k for a while and then comes back on again.I think she is just having an off day today, lol.

To be honest im just so happy i recently got a good backup VV mod.It only cost me £40 and performs equally,if not better than the Provari. No annoying safety cut outs etc and the batteries it takes are considerably cheaper. One feature im missing already is the ohms reader and battery check facility. In saying that,i know how many turns of wire give me a nice LR coil on my RTA so im not that gutted to send this for repair. Its made me realise now that it has to go,once fixed and back with me it can be sold.I now just need to buy another VV backup to back this one up Money, money, money all the time

My Provari has developed a fault today and keeps displaying the E4 error code Im not at all happy and am awaiting response from Provape. Its still under warranty but its the whole sending it back to the America to be fixed that is so annoying.Oh well,im glad i have a good backup VV so im still getting the vape i need.Any of our talented modders fancy trying to fix it? Hmm,that will void my warranty though Oh well,i will send it off to be fixed and then it can be sold when i get it back.Ive had it about 8months now but i hoped this would never happen to mine
