Up graded my pc about 4 weks ago to win7 , was running norton360 for about 4yr with no problems on the old one but started playing up an all that jazz hence the time for the up graed , so anyways the new pc came with only Microsoft Security Essentials on it and with in 3 days I had all sorts of nasties on it , so a quick download of malwearbytes seemed to do its job until I decided to get another virus protection installed, so I decided to go with one called bitdefender and its absolutely brilliant.

VS does state / recommend the use of their atty's which is only natural , they also state that the device is only to be used by a experienced vapor , how hey can denote that is anyone's guess.

mybad, no need to worry as there is no wiring from the base to the body on these, the barrel sits on a spring loaded post as seen in this pic: [/quo Arrr, that explains the depth of the base , IF I remember rightly on the very first one/s made , NOT %100 sure, the base was more shallow and the tube had a notch in it to let the wires through which if turned would snag on the wires.

If you were to take it apart by just dropping the base you would see what I mean , BUT , you have moved it now and seem to have got away with it and yup I also found it better / more comfy with the buttons in that position .

I would be careful doing this as you could break the wire connections , not saying you will but could. You mean cos its me! Not at all spikey , you have the two wire connections at the bottom and by rotating the body you could break one of the connections or both.
