Argos £9:99 well spent IMO I bought similar from a very well known high street DIY superstore for my first charging station, it was complete crap, after 3 days it ended up in bin, my computer can charge my phone (very simple one) in an hour, this rubbish could not charge it in six, paid premium price thinking i'm getting something good, just shows how careful you have to be. I'll have to sit and wait, and hope for some clever person to sort it, cannot get on computer much as had to move out for 2 weeks (bathroom & toilet fitters) so the house is hell on earth, and not clever enough to be on mobile internet !!

We will definatly try to make it, don't list us yet !!, at moment no races that weekend, but until nearer date do not know what life will throw at us Julie and Jessica, will sort out some new bottles to bring along, the ones I was going to are laying on worktop under half inch of dust, as is rest of house, who needs bathroom fitters !!!! I can only talk from experiance not electronic expertise.
I have had 3 six port 4A USB chargers from FT, I know chinese stuff dodgy, but these have served me well with no problems, litterally has charged 100's of everything you can sling a USB plug into, one feeds my charging staion in passage, one is for travel as has multi plugs on it, and other one only failure as I left it in hotel in Berlin, some lucky german still using it now I bet. None ever get hot, none given any problems. Only 1 problem, bloody blue LEDS anyoying in a hotel room at night when only plug beside your bed lol. I know this does not add to this thread, just thought would add as comment.

Can I just add to this, I'm regular customer of FT, last year bought an Istick 20 when all the hoo ha of trying to get them was going on, never checked it just charged and used, it lasted 9 months heavy everyday use, the only reason it failed was because some idiot cross threaded it (me), if it was fake or not I do not care it's best little mod I have ever owned.
And i've had two recent problems with FT products, an Istick 40 would not hold charge, they asked for a video, come on how do you do that, and a cheap and cheerfull carto tank that broke before I could try it. I complained, the Istick was returned and on day I posted it got postage credit, the tank I said did not care and put it down to experiance, got immediate credit. A lot of companies over here could learn from that type of service, ok you have delay in coms but thats to be expected.
I'm a fan of FT.

Thanks Julie Although little better today, things go from bad to worse, i'm having new toilet and bathroom fitted, the fitter despite saying he would give me a weeks notice has decided to start on Monday, I have to strip out all bathroom in next two days, so just taking break at moment, feel like cr*p, lots of cuts already, and about another 150 tiles to remove without the rest of it, I'd never made tonight even if well, looking forward to neighbours complaining when i'm still hammer and chisel at 10pm tonight, serves them right for objections to my conservatory, could not have afforded a new bathroom then (bathrooms bloody expensive !!!). And just to add to misery went to fridge this morning and down to one bottle of juice, Chinas on strike (sorry new year holiday), so misery after misery this weekend, and I should have been in Spain having fun, god trying to tell me something I think lol I know this bit late today, but any reading have good time and think of me, hope to see you next time if I survive this MP |

Sorry folks, might not make Saturday, just back from doctors, got tummy bug that has lasted 48 hours so far, do not think you want me there if like at the moment its rush to toilet every ten minutes. Had to go work yesterday, had to stop twice in 15 minute journey to be sick  MP I'll try and update Saturday morning |

I have just found out that there is a possibility of tube strikes on Saturday from 9pm for 48 hours.  hope that it is called off. God I hope not The last time I got a bus home from one of our meets took me over hour and half, checked on TFL and they say walking time just over an hour, mind you not counting on rubber legs after few drinkies lol.
