Hi mate. Great website, excellent prices. The DCT kits - can they be used on a 1000 mah ego battery? Thanks Cammy, very kind. Still lots of work to do on the website Yes, the DCT's will fit the eGo. For cosmetic reasons I use a small skirt, but it will work without. Will try to get the skirt (not sure that's the technical name, but this is a threaded steel tube that hides the rather ugly connection between an eGo and 510 type fitting. Does that make sense? If anyone knows the correct term, please let me know!

Welcome aboard Charlie & good luck with your venture - look forward to seeing your new stock Thanks Sadie for your kind welcome. Vamos in SS and black chrome due in next week I hope, also wider range of Dekang flavours, strengths and bottle sizes. If you have particular items you'd like to see stocked, do let me know. I want to start stocking hard to get US juices, but it's taking some time to sort this out.

And a proper welcome from me as well, Charlie Out of interest, from the pic & the fact it's Boge, I'm guessing this ciggie lookalike kit is 510 compatible? So might be a good idea to state that in the description & also whether the cartomisers it comes with are prefilled or not Thanks Chrissie, another good point. Yes they are definitely 510 compatible and I am 99% sure they come with a blank refillable cartridge. I fill mine with juice as they look dry to me. I've sent an email to Boge to confirm this 100% and will post the info on the website. Currently waiting on an order of Boge cartos alongside more Dekang juice. From next week I should have both low and standard resistance carts in normal and extra large sizes, and in both black and silver.

cheap DCTs and juice... luckily I like flue cured Me too, love Dekang's flu-cured and it's so cheap compared to some juices! Have just placed order for all nic strengths and larger range of bottle sizes. The mix is Dekang's 80% pg / 20% vg which is just about perfect for me. I've had a lot of people stacking up on flu cured. Not sure if it's Christmas or the prices, but I will try to keep them as low as I can.

I'm looking to get into rebuilding, are the modified atomisers okay for newbies? Having just lost my mum to cancer, I would like to buy one as I'm happy the money is going to cancer research. That's a great gesture. Hi Jerrie, thanks for the email and support. It is much appreciated. The guy who mods these has a twin brother who has been fighting cancer for some time. He absolutely refused any payment for modding each and every one of these atties (a true enthusiast!), so we agreed the proceeds would go to his chosen charity. IMO these are perfect for a newbie as they don't cost over a hundred quid lol and from my own experience and others they seem to work very well. They are certainly no more difficult to get the hang of than other genesis atties I use and easier than some. My only gripe is I like a slightly airier draw, so for me, so you might consider drilling the air hole slightly larger if you have access to a very small drill. Obviously this depends on personal preference, so they've not been enlarged in case people want a stiff draw. Don't expect your coils and wick to be perfect first time. My first five or six coils either shorted or burned out as I fired them up full blast without checking they were glowing evenly first. Watch out for any wires from the mesh or wire sticking out that might cause a short. Make sure the wick is oxidized (lots of video tutorials available) but don't overheat - just heat the mesh to cherry red color. Then make your coils, checking the resistance if you can before firing for the first time, gradually increasing voltage from a very low start if you have a vv and watch out for hot spots on the coil. If there are any, just use a toothpic or small screw driver etc to adjust the coils so they are even. It takes me a few minutes of fiddling to get all the coils glowing evenly. Then add juice and enjoy. I've posted more detailed instructions on my blog from the guy (DareDevil from Vapersden) who modded them. He is an absolute expert compared to me. A lot of people give up after a few attempts at building coils, but once you've got your first one working it really is very easy and very satisfying If you get stuck, just send me an email and I'll try to help.

Hello and Happy New Year AAEC. My name is Charlie and I am very pleased that www.charliesvapeshop.co.uk has been accepted as a vendor on AAEC. The website has been up and running for about one month. Our founding aim is to bring great vapor within reach of everyone, regardless of budget (including those still smoking analogues), hopefully saving them from wasting huge sums of money on devices that end up gathering dust. For this reason, I have so far concentrated on stocking items I personally use on a daily basis and have come to trust. But since vaping is also a matter of personal taste, I also enjoy listening to the views of friends, experts and other enthusiasts like me. Currently the Vamo V2s is one of the fastest selling VV mods, starting at just 29.99 for the silver chrome finish. We sold out of Black Chrome in a week, but more black chrome are on order for arrival hopefully early next week, alongside the stainless steel version. We've also had a run on Dekang e-liquid over the holidays, with one customer buying 300ml of juice (for me that's about six months worth, lol), probably due to the opening sale bargain prices and the power of google and the eCig forums. We are currently restocking with a wider range of Dekang flavours and strengths which are due in stock shortly. Also in stock and selling well are mass produced genesis style atomizers for just £12.49. These have been hand modified to improve airflow by an experienced genesis enthusiast. See website for details. Proceeds from these atomizers are being donated to Cancer Research. If you read my blog you will find out why. The kit version of these atomizers is due back in stock next week. Charlie's Vape Shop is also proud to be the first and only stockist of Bloog products - a popular premium brand in the US. Bloog KR808 batteries are roughly the size of an analogue cigarette. These come in varying sizes and a range of striking colours - blue, purple, green, even anodized steel. I'm getting repeat orders from experience vapors so that is a good sign as I'd thought initially they would be of more interest to cigarette smokers than experienced vapers. Bloog cartos have a good reputation. I was hoping to restock all items which have sold out before posting on AAEC (sales in our first month were roughly ten times higher than expected) but new stock is now arriving daily, so please check back if items are not back in stock, they should be replenished shortly. Prices should also remain at current levels for another few weeks at least until I have added up all the expenses (freight costs, customs duties, paypal fees, packaging, webhosting, bank charges etc) to see if we've made any profit once costs are covered! I will always try to answer all queries and questions as fast as I can. Probably the quickest way to reach me is via the email address or telephone number given on the top left hand side of the website. I hope that in the coming weeks and months I will get the chance to get to know some of you as friends on the forum or as customers in the shop. Sincerely. Charlie www.charliesvapeshop.co.uk

I have been looking at getting a cigalike type for work too and that anodised battery quite took my fancy (I could use it with a bud or something as I dont like boges etc) 1. Is it best to get manual or auto ? 2. The charger there is like the one I have for the SDK or I have a ego/riva one, would either of these be ok for charging it ? Auto is easy if you don't have a hand free to hold and want to look like James Dean with an eCig hanging off your lip. Manual gives you more control. I use one of each and don't yet have a preference Re the charger, as a Bloog distributor, I'd have to stay best to stick to the Bloog charger. And isn't Riva 901, and the SDK 510? whereas Bloog is KR808. So I think you'd need a charger.

Thanks Adam, I'm also glad you started this thread. I've learnt a lot and got to 'meet' some of you. It's a funny world, but there has been a rush of sales on eGo clones, people buying them by the handful and we've sold out of some eGos! Will wait a few weeks and see how many come back before restocking, but so far so good. Think I'll also avoid the 'straight copies', there are so many batteries that charge of an eGo 'type' charger there is no need to stick to clones of the well known branded stufff. It's a shame for us 'little guys' that Joyetech have signed a sole distributor agreement in the UK. But there are still plenty of other decent devices. Charlie, I'm gonna hold fire on the battery until you have some feedback on how they are; having said that, I'm happy I started this thread so people got a chance to meet you, myself included and I will be purchasing other things from your site this week. Adam.

With prices cut to the bone, I have had to raise the postage costs recently more in line with the average daily postal spend. Even now, I doubt it covers packing materials And over Christmas, I with the post office under huge pressure and relying on temporary staff, we wanted to avoid losses and delays. Standard shipping is now available and will be available until late December 2013

Hi Alvoram, no offense taken whatsoever. I should have made it more clear on the website that these are not Joyetech Twists. Would have changed the item description this morning, but 'eGo Twist style batteries' doesn't fit the template which is a bit frustrating, so it will have be done in the explanatory text for each item. There is so much to learn in this new industry that in my opinion we need free and open debates like this. Just please bear in mind that I am a new vendour and still have a lot to learn. Having said that, I also have clear ambitions of where I'm hoping to go with the business: good quality affordable kit that works. I want every smoker to be able to at least try the sort of vapor achieved by more experienced vapers without them having to go through what most of us went through - trial and error costing hundreds of pounds, sometimes for devices that never get used. And I think mass production is essential, although I dislike blatant copies. So I will probably stick to clones where they've made design changes, even if it is only to add a pretty flower design, or improved air vent etc etc. China really doesn't have the same cultural attitude to design patents and branding. There is also next to no transparency. They just don't get our appetite for information and cynicism for 'the official line'. But they are also amazingly dynamic, hard working and inventive. And gradually I think they will understand that we want well-made mass-produced devices, made with premium materials, not cheap knock offs. But at the moment, the choice is between cheap knock offs and hand finished, custom made devices with not much in between. I am sympathetic to all the views voiced in this thread. For the moment I'm undecided about these Twist clones, but I agree they look too much like the Joyetech ones for comfort. I did not set out to make money ripping of premium brands with cheap copies - that's not part of my business plan. But I also don't want to go down the premium brands only route (although I do stock Bloog!). If anyone is interested, there is a very interesting thread (you can google it) comparing the 'Vision Eternity' made by LG (same as TVs, phones etc) and the Mark Bugs 'Infinity' and a debate on whether it is a rip off or an improvement. I love Mark Bugs stuff, and just this week spent £100+ for a new Mark Bugs atomizer, just for the collection But the £15.99 mass produced Vision Eternity is still my most used atomizer. Has copyright been infringed? No idea. Is the Eternity better than the Infinity? The only way to tell is suck it and see Oh dear, what did I start here? I meant no offence to the vendor, and didn't even intend to put the OP off buying, as I said, they are worth the price, despite not being genuine joyetech. I just wanted to answer the question originally posted "is this real?" and also point out that the genuine Joyetech "twists" (and yes, it was the "twist" part that I was calling fake, a copy, stolen name, as Ego, could define the thread type ) were in my experience much better. But then they are more expensive too. Whilst we're on the subject of fairness to vendors though, how about fairness to manufacturers too. My main concern with these cheap copies, is that because they are not as good, people may try them and think that they are not all they're cracked up to be, maybe even give opinions based on this within these forums to new users, when those opinions are based on the cheap fake version, and not the joyetech product, which is much better. I'm almost certain this has happened in the past, and I don't think that is fair to joyetech, who try to bring us the best products, of high quality, only for them to be imitated. Same goes for other manufacturers, smoktech, Vision and so on. Must be bad for them. That said, I'm not against fakes, I think if someone can bring you a product for less, then that's a good thing, but people should remain aware of the differences, and the potential differences in quality, and should understand why the genuine versions cost more. Because they were created by the innovators who spent money coming up with the design in the first place, and are possibly manufacturing it to a higher standard. /rant I hope people understand what I was trying to say now, no offence intended to anyone, and if I wanted a twist right now, I wouldn't have any problems buying from Charlie at those prices.

Happy to post to France at cost if you can't wait Just choose 1st/2nd/recorded/special delivery etc and I'll invoice you any extra cost. No need to select international shipping rate as this is just an estimate at the moment. I was looking at that yesterday, rather nice, innit? There's a downside to living here though, so will treat myself when I'm UK bound.

I went for Bloog thinking when I get a chance I'll try to promote them wholesale for newbies and that they wouldn't really appeal to experienced users. But I'm getting repeat orders from some very experienced vapers, so I think they must be ok There's normally one in my pocket too. Just bear in mind their size, no way they will ever kick out a 20 watt vape. But there's as good, probably better, than any cigalike I've tried particularly on flavour and looks.
