Sorry, Dolly, about the hassle you've had but glad it looks like you will get it sorted. My question is off topic but I just have to ask what's the advantage of buying a phone on ebay? The reason I ask is that my phone is on its last legs. I'm only short of holding it together with cellotape and elastic bands. I'm nearing the stage where I'll have to replace it but I thought I would have to buy from a mobile phone shop where they transfer the numbers and hook me up with a service provider such as 02. How do you manage the service provider, etc. when buying from ebay? all you need is an un-locked fone ..simply take you sim from your old fone and place into your new one couple of things here 1 make sure all contacts are saved to sim and not the fone itself 2 u cant buy a iphone as they have micro sims.. 3 if you want to change provider ..say from orange to vodafone but still keep your same tel number ,,then u need to contact your current supplier and ask for a pac code this pac code then given to your new provider can be used to activate your new phone with new provider and same old tele number im not at all bad on mobiles :-) anything i can help with dont hesitate to ask :-) |

I really don't want to not pay the man for the phone as i got a good deal on it and the ebay girl said he isn't linked to the problem. I did ask her why this idiot is still allowed to sell on ebay considering his appalling feeback. She said that will also be looked at. glad it all sorted for ya dolly im sure a quick message to the owner of the phone can sort that little problem out and hopefully the bell end will be banned from ebay....im sure your not the 1st to complain about him tho....how the hell is he still on there ?? |

Right i have changed my passwords. Cannot work out how to speak to ebay just comes up with loads of scenarios that are not relevant to me and even if i click one it still doesnt allow me to talk to anyone not even by email. I must clarify that the person selling the nail kit is not the same person i bought the phone from. It is a different seller and what is worrying me is that i just checked this persons feeback and he has had 74 negatives in the last 12mths!! obv a complete bell end,,,who`s account should have been closed by now you have nothing to worry about with regards to your money use the link above and explain to ebay and im sure they will sort it asap good luck |

1st and foremost i would change your email addy password then your paypal password for good measure
if a hacker as got into your account is more likely they have been in your email and then had the password recovery sent there from ebay
may not be the case but wont hurt to change them to be on the safe side :-)
edited to add ...check your security on email password recovery
mine is set to notify me by fone on and changes requested :-)
gamil hotmal i know for fact are really easily hacked by people in the know (hackers)
