ronaldo the womenfolk are not impressed as the rest of the men have thought this was a great idea, so now there is talk of all of us taking our rods, some beers and the barbecue, we'll be cooking up a Mackerel dinner on the beach during the "intermission" between the ceremony and evening do, well it will keep us out of the way while they have a "rest" and sort out their evening wear, make up and hair........i am in so much trouble! Clivia I am thinking of a variety of greens and yellows as Springtime, after having a look found some different versions on the theme having fingerprints as balloons which i might do for the children, won't matter if it then gets a bit messy.

charon, i can't claim any originality for the idea my daughter requested it and having a look on the interweb search thingy there are loads, as for children, ink and white dress i must admit the thought did cross my mind too,

ausfost that looks very nice mate is there any chance we could see a pick of it when its done with at the wedding i would be very intrested to see it  If it gets approved for use, then i shall try to get some pics of the completed article, though i make no promises as i intend to be "drinking at the time", already getting in trouble with the good lady Wife for saying i'm taking my fishing rod as the hotel is near the beach |

thanks for all your kind comments, DiscoDes luckily i am to be spared this time (it's my daughters second wedding) I embarrassed her enough first time, tales of her as a child wanting Scottish chickens as she liked Scotch eggs etc. etc., hope it all goes well for your daughters big day, and remember no story is ever too embarrassing for a fathers speech  |

My daughter is getting married on the 3rd of May she asked if i could make her a fingerprint tree, never heard of them before but seems quite a good idea once she explained that it is a version of a guest register, guests ink their finger and "leaf" the tree, so i had a go at a bit of painting to see what i could come up with, so here is my first attempt...  needs to be finished off with names and date etc and be approved just going to bed just realised the time work in the morning catch you all later. |
