I wouldnt mind a bombshell, this is very similar in size to the S/B if i remember,i love big mods lol What sort of things are you looking for trade chriss, mods attys? would you be intrested in selling if you dont get a trade. Yes, mods, either smaller or box, or yes attys, but I find dripping too much faff. The Bombshell is a big heavy mod and the Vamo is just that with added VV so I find I don't use both. I'm just looking to trade it for something different.

I think this is a brilliant little mod. I put one in my jacket whenever I leave the house. If you use it with the XL cartos it is so discrete you can pretty much vape anywhere. The button is on the top and I have never had it fire by accident. You do need a longish drip tip if you have big thumbs like me.

Hi, This is a good mechanical mod in perfect condition, only used a couple of times, and it has never left the house. I bought it at the same time as a Vamo and the Bombshell is just not getting any use. I am willing to consider any offers, except for juice and tubular 18650 mods. Just send me a pm. Here is a pretty accurate review of the Bombshell - vapenstein.com/the-lab/hardware-review/87-hardware-review-the-bombshellHere is a pic - Chris

is the wick to thick, it likes plenty of room . I used 2mm + 1mm together, following the example given for an aga-t. Maybe I should try just 2mm?

Hi,
I had my first go at rebuilding today, an aga-s with a silica wick using maccafan's method. I managed to eliminate the hot spots, got 1.7 ohms, good wicking and loads of vapour. However the taste was burnt and nothing I did could get rid of it. The chamber smelt burnt and in the end I pulled out the wick and coil and washed out the atty ready for another go another day. Has anyone got any ideas on what I was doing wrong or tips on how to avoid that burnt taste?
Chris

Sorry don't have time to do on-the-street research for the meet but here is a website with Soho pubs. Some are listed as having function rooms. Maybe a phone call and a promise of 15+ punters might get one to open it up for us? www.fancyapint.com/Pub/az/soho/208

Very happy with my Vamo now I have the treads sorted. The only issue I have is that it is reluctant to power up. Sometimes when I screw in the bottom cap the led doesn't flick on and off and then it won't power up at all. When it does power up it won't start with just 5 clicks. Sometimes 1 click, wait a sec, then 5 clicks works, at other times it takes 2 or 3 sequences of 5 clicks to get it going. Once it's powered up it's fine until you power down. Any ideas? Robby's suggestion of stretching the spring sorted this completely

It's 18650 only, and I've used Kanger T3s and DCTs on it so far. I guess the batteries will last the usual length of time for an 18650 mechanical mod, 1.5-2 days for me. The body is 105mm long and 30mm in diameter so a 6ml DCT looks quite petite on it. I haven't put it on the scales but it is marginally heavier than a SS vamo in 18650 mode. Reminds me of one of those Ronson table lighters.

I bought a Bombshell from ecigwizard in their recent sale, and I think we're going to get on well. It's a sumo wrestler of a mod, fat, squat and heavy, and hard to knock over. The body is really thick aluminium, the finish is excellent and the thread is buttery. The button is recessed and tiny and I hope that the button and the wiring turn out to be as tough as the body. Early days but if you are clumsy like me and prone to making absent-minded grabs for your mod this could be for you. It's no longer in the sale but here is a link and a pic stolen from ecigwizard. www.ecigwizard.com/the-bombshell-mod/the-bombshell-mod.html
