www.britishairways.com/cms/global/pdfs/Forbidden_Items_List.pdfthis might come in handy too. I assume attys are classed as "Heat Producing Items". So just remember all spare batteries need to be in your hand luggage, AND to put your e-cig and spare attys in there too. Your not allowed to carry it on your person but you are allowed to have it in your hand luggage. Thanks for the advise bluecow. Deesigner, thanks for the feedback. Will post my experience later.

Jason, I'm sorry for the off-topic on your thread! I vape 24mg about 3-4ml a day! I reckon 36mgs is a bit high for daily vaping and chain-vaping ! If you're not feeling any OD symptom maybe that's ok... there is no study regarding nic absorption and it probably varies a lot from person to person! Probably you don't absorb as much as some of us do, or maybe your body has higher tolerance to it... don't really know what else to say! Also, I have no scientific knowledge of nic harmful effects when in high doses, my main worry was always the tar etc... the nicotine I always saw it as an addictive substance and not much else... It may be interesting though to read other replies as they might enlighten me a little further too! Once again sorry for the off-topic, I recognise it was somewhat rude from me ! greetings It's all right Aldo - I anyway missed the joke you guys shared. I started with 24mg but found myself needing an analog to satisfy the nic craving. So I moved up straight to 36mg which seems OK. Maybe I should try coming down to 30mg first?

Thanks Shmreez and Bluecow. It's a relief to know Heathrow is no problems. My airline is a relatively small Indian airline (Kingfisher - i'm going to Delhi) who might not know about vaping ??? Think I might call and ask.

I think if you were OD'ing, you would feel light headed and a bit sick. Still though, that's a lot of nicotine that you are vaping. Were you a heavy smoker ??? Thanks Jerry for the quick reply. I used to smoke ~25/day of lights, which relatively speaking is not very high compared to some stalwarts who lurk around here It's strange - no sickness, nausea or anything?? Is there a chance of some harm due to this excessive amount of nic - this is what is worrying me? J

I vape 36mg juice exclusively and go through 3-4 ml a day. I'm worried if I'm OD'ing I don't feel light headed or anything even when I chain vape over weekends. In fact, I don't get the nico hit with lower strengths and there are very few juices that I like that are available in 36mg. James has a few but he's run out of caramel Anyway, my main worry is, am I OD'ing?

Hi I got a 9.5 hr nonstop international flight coming up which means ~12 hrs in no 'smoking' areas Has anyone vaped at Heathrow or in a plane recently? How'd the people react? Did anyone make you stop? Did u have any trouble getting your juice across immigration? J

Camperman: Do you have a website?
Thanks J

Chrissie - Thanks a lot ! That makes it a lot clearer tho' I'd need a week to go through that link in detail (which I don't intend on doing ) Jason, I just received a pack of clearomizers. After one hour vaping (and that obviously is not enough) I'm amazed. I had heard previous comments on how good and simple to use these things were, and I must say I am pretty much convinced. I don't think I'll use all those carts for a few time. I won't give up on direct dripping however as it's the best experience you can get of your e-cig in my opinion ! sooo, to sum up... If i were you I would give these little babies a try before jumping into a mod! As attractive as it may seem to own on of those excellent pieces of engineering, I think the clearos may solve your problem of cartridge filling, and as far as I've heard they are pretty durable too. Only con is that they don't seem to go along with VG juices, or mixed ones. As you may imagine, I'm in no condition of evaluating such fact, but will give it a try and express my opinion afterwards. either way, best wishes on this journey ! ALdo Camperman - Do you agree with Aldo's warning about VG on clearomizers? Where can I get the 2.4-2.6 resistance ones? Yeah, I'd be interested in your thai mods - do you have a picture/details?

Hissie - no not at all Chrissie/Foxy/Scylla: After having watched the vids, I now understand how the GGTB/SD work. With due respect and pardon my ignorance, but aren't these things essentially bigger, better lasting batteries with the regular atties/carts? Without having tried any one of them, I would have thought that these mods are also limited by the quality of the atties you use, apart from the fact that their bigger batties last longer? Plus, I read a lot of negative comments about the SD in one thread on the ukvapours forum which has increased the doubts (no disrespect to your advice) Aldo - afraid then these are not for me as I'm hooked on James' caramel which is VG/mixed. Thanks for the tip though. For the moment I'm going to try LR901 on my Riva 510 batteries. Can you please advise if these atties also come with a primer which needs to be blown off/dry burnt (2-3 secs) to get rid of? Another thing - people keep talking about vaping at 5v or 6v. What exactly does this mean? Is there a guide for beginners to understand this? As always, thanks for your patience and invaluable help. Jason

Woah! info overload - go slow guys - i've been vaping only just about a month So there is a mixed opnion about LR Mega atties - maybe I should try the regular LR901 atties first? Re the SD - i'm totally confused - are there 2 separate batteries? One (the 900 mAh ones) screwing on the atties, and others (ultra fire?), going inside what is called the SD itself? Surely the screw-on batteries are quite expensive? What's the diff between MKI & MKII & which one should I get? Is there a discount code for TW? Thanks for your help & patience! J

Perpetua Thanks for the links. For the mega attys, I guess I also need mega carts ( www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-cartridges/titan/electronic-cigarette-tecc-510-titan-e-product.html) from them? Your link points to Tornado mega LR atties - will these fit my 510 batteries? TW also have Titan (which think are compatible with 510 batteries) mega atties(http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/electronic-cigarette-accessories/mega-products.html) but they are not LR and these also need mega atties. Which one is recommended? What's special about the screwdriver apart from the 900 mAh battery? I mean, one can always buy a 900 mAh battery for 510, no?

Scylla
At home too, I avoid vaping inside as much as I can - I don't want to vape in front of the kids (11 & 3) and have them think it's 'cool' because daddy does it, IYKWIM.

Sorry for being late - had to look after the kids Scylla - thanks for the link. I'll check out the giantomiser thread you've pointed to. JerryRM - I have always used 2 e-cigs and rotated between them. Initially the battieries lasted almost one full day (for my vaping levels). Recently it's gone down, but i haven't kept track- maybe 8-10 hrs. You are right about taking it easy - it's better when I vape at a liesurely place but at work it's a bit of a rush to get back Hissie - agree completely that it's trial and error and there's only so much that someone can help you. Perpetua - sorry for my ignorance, but what's a ' Mega Atomiser'? I've heard only of standard or LR atties. Similarly, what's a 'GGTB' and where can I get these? LF? Scylla - yes I spend a lot of time at work but just cannot vape there despite being legally allowed to! Normally we go out and can smoke only in the designated smoking area. Thanks all J

Thanks for the replies guys. Chrissie, I couldn't find the adapters on LF. Could you please help? Aldo, my LR 501 attie lasted all of 15 minutes - so I'm scared of spending money on those. However, some people say LR 901s are good. Should I try those? I am still using the original cart filler but have ordered the blue foam thingy today. I was thinking of buying the joye super xl kit (with 900 mAh batteries and 2ml carts ) but couldn't find a supplier from the list here. Can anyone suggest where I can find these? Are they any good? replacement atties are quite expensive at £10 a pop, as are the batteries, though. Jason
