Nice one rom, hope your other halfs mum spends hers wisely. She won't tell us how much she got (we didn't ask anyway but her other 3 daughters did...tut tut) but i am guessing 80k judging on how much she has gave out so far, and that is only a quarter of what is to come, but saying that she has gone through hell, been bed ridden for 1 year and in a wheelchair for coming on two years now. She lives in spain and it was one hell of a nasty car crash  Oh dear sounds like she deserves every penny wish her our best. |

Will be very suprised if you are disappointed is has full manual overide if you want to be creative & all the camera mags praise it, as i said before i have the TZ20 which we take everywhere with us & was about the same price 3/4 years ago, obviously this model will be even better, remember to get a few memory cards & spare battery. Better to have 2/3 4gb cards than 1 16gb or 32gb cards because if the card goes down you have not lost so many good photos in one go, the HD video is crisp clear. Enjoy.  |

A little off topic, but the Siam Mod tubes for the Evic are well worth considering too. Top quality crafted items. Agree MarkS but I am looking for the telescopic type thanks. |

Bit of a low down to make things more simple: I am looking for a camera that is better than what i have atm, the problem i have with the camera atm is it is crap at night time piccys no matter how i adjust the menus, and another problem is that my OH seems to have a knack of a shaky hand when taking piccys  I just want something that is a lot clearer than what i have atm and that is good for holiday piccys not just at daytime but mainly at night. Not looking for something to take piccys at flowers or anything like that just basic stuff  Looking for around the max mark of £220.00, would prefer lower as it gives me more vape gear Rom don't dismiss the panny it's one for your short list the o/h even gets some great shots, the only way to get great night shots with any camera is either with a dedicated powerful flash like on an SLR or use a tripod for low light shots. Unless you want to lug heavy camera gear around on hols stick to the compacts or at a push go for a hybrid but you will have buy extra lenses which don't come cheap. |

denis9t9 if you do order from the house of mods put a note in to make sure they include the o ring as in the past, other people did not receive one. Thanks Greigster certainly makes sense to help close the gap to the atty. |
