Me again folks,
further to the original post I'm after any non working riva battery's as I want to see if I can:
a) get the button out?
b) re-use the button on the mod I'm going to attempt to build.............

Don't know if it was a 901 or Lr901 as it was pinheads and he pinched it back within seconds of letting me try it on my Riva  |

Anyone got any dead Riva batteries they are willing to sell or donate? (p&p) paid of course. That so called mate of mine pinhead has now given me the bug to try a mod for myself (why do I listen to him) >  |

Hi all, Now back and would like to thank you all for your comments and wonderful advice. I tried a drip tip from pinhead with good results and no burnt taste, only issue being having to continually fill it Took your advice Ian and bought some clearmisers but still don't have them so can't give any feed back as yet... Also tried 901 whistle tip from me old pal pinhead and again as you suggested Ian no burnt taste  still using it with no problems (what is this witchcraft) looks similar to 501 whistle tip but with slightly different shape inner, yet performs completely different. Have also tried converter and 901 atty again from pinhead (patten forming here) lol...Really like it  thanks Chrissie think I'm going to be a 901 convert, good vape, good hit but at least double the taste |

Me again Ian, just looked up clearomisers on google images. How do they work or what's different about them? Finally where do you get them for 510 riva as would like to try if you think it may resolve the problem..........  |

Can't smell any burning, but having to top up after about 6 draws. surely this can't be right?
Also what really confuses me is it's not all the time. which leave me with the impression atty's are ok.........

Thanks for your reply Ian, I'm willing to try anything (Desperation)  ( Trying a whistle tip at the moment off pinhead but don't know if it's a 901 type? fits in the end of 510 atty. Is this the same as you suggest? Didn't get on with cartomisers but what's a clearomiser? Now trying to boil/wash atty's to see if that makes a difference? Do you think there's any milage in my thoughts of the LR atty's burning to hot? there for giving off a burning taste |

Hi, I recently bought a 510 Riva and was initially very impressed. However after about a week I now get a very strong burnt taste after about 4 to 6 inhales ughhh......... I have tried all that I can think of eg. changing atty, de-wicking, cleaning, black sponge, blue sponge, t-bags etc.....I have also tried normal and LR attys to see if this help (it doesn't) ( when it vapes properly it's fantastic, loads of taste, loads of vape...But can't work out this constant burning taste which is extremely harsh on the throat..... If it helps I have been trying various flavors and have tried 4 different attys. 1 x normal 3 x LR......... Has anyone experienced this? or know of how to solve the problem? |
