lower nic certainly made a difference for me, got a bit light headed before i dropped down! Another quick question as I dont want to start a new thread.... Sigelei 100w box mod is reading volts at 3.0v on two fully charged 18650 batteries. Zmax is reading each battery at 4.2 + 4.1 respectively. Why is the sigelei reading both (together) incorrectly? Both batteries are Efest IMR 2000mah 18650s. Is 2000mah ok? been trying to clarify this for the last half hour some sources recommending higher drain at 1600 mah would be safer. Not using this until im satisfied im safe. im using vtc4 batterys from myepack, is your zmax single battery? I would of thought as sigelei is dual batt its evening the power out between the 2. Single battery = all power dual battery = spreading power yeah the zmax is single battery, I was just abit concerned a have a dud mod as its reading quite low.. would have thought the volts would have been averaged across the pair but im no electrician! I was looking at those on my epack but wanted to be certain they were good for upto 30w at 0.5 coils!

Ok so I got 100w plus mod with sub tank and bugger me its big compared to my hana clone and rosev2 clone, Just had a vape on it and felt like razor blades hit my throat, thinking of doing diff pg/vg mix at lower nic lower nic certainly made a difference for me, got a bit light headed before i dropped down! Ok so after alot of deliberation I stumped up the cash and went for a Sigelei 100W box mod and kanger subtank.
0.5 ohm coil inserted and tried changing wattage between the recommended 15-30W
I'm not getting anywhere near the amount of vapor I expected and the draw seems some what harsh
On the plus side the flavor is incredible to my previous vamo/zmax and nautilus setup
The videos online the guys are getting incredible vapor production.
Any ideas what im doing wrong?

Reckon your looking at a mod that will give you 40 or 50 Watts and that means either big bucks or taking a punt. I'm looking for an inexpensive one that does the business, a few contenders but none that have been proven. Sigelei 50 and Smoktech Bec are compromises - not too expensive and not so many issues. For a bit more the GI 2 should be OK as you won't be pushing it near the limit. Not what you really want but maybe a cheap mech and a good battery are your best bet for now. thanks monty ill check out your suggestions! I guess what im really after then is a 40-50w budget box mod...

How long have you been vaping toejam? Have you tried sub ohm equipment before? is your current equipment not satisfying your vaping habit? only asking because sub ohm equipment may not give you what you are looking for, if you are after a flavoursome vape then an aspire premium kit may be a much better option www.escape2vapour.co.uk/batteries-chargers/aspire-premium-kit-featuring-nautilus-mini-vvbatteryIf you want clouds and a super airy draw then go for what you originally quoted, just thought i would throw this into the mix, peace Carl richo71 Ive been vaping about 24 months now, gone from 400mah battery and ce5 to spinners and pro tanks, kamry pipe mods, vamos etc etc. Current setup is a sigelei zmax with nautilus tank, its not that its not satisfying my habit - just want to try sub ohm to see what all the hype is about. Id rather someone else built my subohm coils than me as I've tried the taifun and a few drippers and its a pain in the ****! You will want around 40w I reckon. Mine is on an ipv2 @ 35w mostly but can go over that. Go for something with more wattage than you will need so it is not running at max power. The Atlantis is ok on my dna30 but is better at slightly higher power. thanks jmw2309 that answers one question I was unsure whether 30w would be adequate as it would be running at max

Thanks prr ive been doing a fair bit of reading and decided the atlantis is ideal for me as I can just purchase pre built coils etc. tried wicking on a Taifun GT clone and failed miserably (will be up in classifieds shortly)
Any suggestions on the above anyone?
Maybe I should have stuck this in general rather than beginners D'oh!

Hey guys,
looking at upgrading to an aspire atlantis, seems my Sigelei Zmax V3 no longer fits the bill as it only goes up to 15 watts
Seems ive been left behind abit and I'm lost in thousands of options of box mods etc now.
What would you recommend to use with the atlantis and/or kanger subtank when released with a modest budget of 50 quid?
Thanks All!
