I'm just thinking about doing a mock-up with some larger scale wires so you can more easily see what you're aiming for, kind of BIG Picture, Little Picture Let me know what you think. Great idea Mono. I'll be purchasing the pre-made coils from Vaporbreak, with the Phoenix. . Putting the wires through the screwholes in the atty, tighten em up, then cut the excess off to make a single coil, - it just what happens next is confusing me Cheers Mike

Sorry, I did say I would do more pics but have been tied up with work and the kids. If you havent tried making your own single silica coil yet I would recommend starting there and getting that "comfortable" before moving on. I will try to post some tonight after work. A basic ability to twist wires together neatly is really all you need, I do it every day at work so it comes naturally to me but I do understand poor eyesight and sausage finger syndrome can make it tricky Edit -- If you want/need me to, I will post a step by step with a wire twisting guide. I don't want to insult anyones intelligence as "twisting wires together" can sound really easy, but when it comes to making coils you benefit from having both legs the same overall length in the final resistance reading. If you "wrap" 1 leg around the other you will have a slight resistance imbalance, which could affect the coils. We are talking pretty low amounts of resistance so you likely wouldn't notice, however if 1 coil blows the whole setup will still work but you will have wasted all your time and effort Mono Thanks Mono, a step-by-step guide, would be fantastic. I've seen PBusardo's rebuilding a Nova atty, and it looks pretty simple.but for me, I haven't clue about wiring. Cheers Mike

Any chance of a board member, giving a tutorial or post a link, that shows how to bind the two coils together? Cheers Mike See the first page of this thread Mike I've already seen it Des, if the photos were more close up, I'd understand.

Robby.
I fully agree with Chris - don't risk it for a few Clearo's. "They'll get here, when they get here"

Ref the SVD, keep your eye on vapourbreak over the next few days, I think I talked him out of the V3 curlywhirly Vamo and pushed him in the direction of the SVD, he knows them apparantly, but they are very protective of the retail price. I am not sure how much he will be able to knock off the price. He was going to talk to Innokin the last time I spoke with him. -V-Hi Rob, did you get my PM 3 hours ago mate? Mike

I'll look forward to your review Robby . I really like dual coil, the flavour is amazing, I like mega dual coil cartos 1.5 ohm, easy to fill ,nice flavour, DCT's hmmm - dual coil carto's, having to soak juice in wadding, then filling up with juice, not the best - imo. Would like to have a Phoenix, but i'm totally useless at wiring. What's the difference between a Phoenix, and a CE4/Vivi Nova??? (flavour wise) I'm using Vivi Nova's atm - nice. Mike Hi Mike, Ref the phoenix, they are so easy to recoil if you get the premade coils and wicks. Double coiling them is easy but fiddly. I have big fingers like sausages, if I can do it anyone can. I dont like cartos or DCTs myself, I want to see how much juice is left lol. The phoenix and the Nova flavour wise are about the same, the Nova is a little cooler vape. I double coil both of them. With two coils the difference in temperature isnt really an issue. The Iclear30 that Sadie is selling is really a souped up turbo charged Nova. It is amazing and beats my double coiled Novas by a country mile. I would recommend you get one if you havent already. Sorry Sadie, not my thread I know, if you have any more questions Mike, send me a PM mate Cheers Robby I'm trying ,not to buy, but finding it very difficult.

More or less the capacity weaver, I think they are 1.6 ml capacity, and no sexy hip wiggling from the drip tip of course But if that is genuine Innokin, a fantastic price for 5!!!! Now you`ve dont it Mike, just ordered 5 I'll look forward to your review Robby .
