Halfords or any other good car accessories shop will sell DIW, usually £1 + pennies for 1L thanks, thought i read somewhere,its not safe. |

I dilute my VG with DIW at 10%, so I'd add more glycerin (another 200ml for 10%) if I were you and see how you get on. DIW does indeed do the job, but I don't think further dilution is going to do you too many favours, might make the juice too thin  Thanks Jen, At the moment, Ive got 200ml of glycerin, and 50ml of vodka. so in total 250ml. so would you add a further amount 20ml of glycerin? Hi Everyone,
Just mixed 40ml vodka with Boots glycerin 200ml.
Been vaping with a menthol mix, the throat hit is way too strong for me.(its not my recipe, as i've previously used this before)
Should I dilute the glycerin even further,to reduce the throat hit? - would distilled water do the job?

Couple of weeks ago before I went away to work I mixed all PA flavourings - final mix PG/VG 60/40 8% Lemon 8% Key Lime 4% French Vanilla Deluxe nic strength -18mg just tried it there - is a lovely refreshing exhale with vanilla on the inhale and loads of vapour on my riva with a C4 clearo what Im wondering now is tweaking it with either a) menthol to make more "clean fruity" b) ethyl maltol to sweeten it and enhance vanilla might try both Sounds good that Andy, I might try that & add some Koolada instead of the menthol. |

I've used these heads in my Vivi Nova and CE5. Flavour is superb, but in my case , if your PV tumbles over, the eliquid leaks through the driptip.  It looks likely,the culprit is the thickness of the rubber grommit on top of the coil, its very thin compared to the Nova grommit. Tried to get the grommit off, but i cant. Anyone have any advice? Ive left 30mls to steep for 18 days - then I vaped 3mls. it was creamyish, so I used a few more VC drops, it was muted, then I added a few drops of Capella French Vanilla and it was worse :-(- so I added a few drops of PG,and it revived it slightly. I've ran out of VC,so Ill have to buy some more. apart from Capella, is CCW's Custard any good? Maybe next time i should use TPA French Vanilla ? wonder if dulse de leche would save it? Cheers Mike Vanilla is one of those flavours that does benefit greatly from steeping Mike, so if you tried it soon after adding more then it probably wasn't very nice. A number of members do also use use D de L in their VC mixes, so it's worth a try. Don't use much though as it is quite potent. Although sometimes I think we can tweak our mixes too much and make them worse, rather than better. Maybe it's best just to learn from that mix for the next one? That's what I tend to do if something really hasn't met my expectations. TPA do a French Vanilla ( without diketones ) and a French Vanilla Deluxe ( with diketones ) I like the Deluxe myself. CCW's Custard from what I've read isn't as nice as Capella's, although perfectly acceptable. TPA make a Vanilla Custard and that for me is closer ( maybe nicer ) than Capella's . . . though there's a whisker in it for my taste buds. Which place sells TPA VC? Cheers |

Dulce de Leche is, for me, an essential 'condiment' in the vaping pantry. It can add a touch of sweetness and creaminess to many dessert type juices (I use it in my VC recipe). It has been known to save a 'meh' juice and turn it around If its a 'meh' juice, how many drops/ml would you use for a VC 30ml? Cheers Mike |

Cheers mike I haven't tried Capella's French Vanilla yet, so I'm unable to give you a definitive answer really Mike. Maybe someone who has used both would be able to advise better? TPA's French Vanilla Deluxe does contain diketones, which add to the creaminess levels quite considerably. Not everyone wants to vape those, so they choose Vanilla concentrates that don't contain them, but it will compromise the overall flavour. How long have you left your mix to steep? TPA's French Vanilla instead is an option Macca . . . that doesn't have the custard notes in it, it'll help add some creaminess if you feel your mix needs it that is. Or Vanillin Crystals. You could add some Caramel Stitch, but I'd let it steep and see if you like it unsweetened first. Perp's Is there any difference between TPA's French Vanilla and Capella's French Vanilla ?
