I am missing the other smileys we used to have. Disappointed we have not got a ' user CP'. We have not got a list of moderators with ease of access as we had on the old site. What is the point of having an' e mail ' option when no-one puts there e mail address on their profile? What is the 'user link' 'code' options useful for? Apart from the above, I could get used to this new system. |

kibbster, what yard stick do you use for buying 'decent chargers', Price, brand or supplier?
I cannot see that any of those things will guarantee a 'decent' charger, especially as most of us are totally ignorant about such things and rely on our supplier to ensure that what they are selling is a 'decent safe charger.

I have a surge protector, it also protects sockets in the house so if one has a fault all the sockets in the house will stop working until the faulty one is unplugged, throw the switch on the ring main and all is back on again.
This however, does not make me complacent about the electrics, I unplug/switch off most plugs at bedtime, it saves a bit of lecky and I am the health & safety officer in my home,I put sky box in stand by mode too, don't switch off the phone or router.
Scared stiff of fires.
