In my layman's understanding of the applicable law (which isn't great), the German system at least has two types of medicine: by presentation, and by function. Presentation means it's labelled and marketed as a medicine, function means it acts as a medicine.
So you may be right and the latter could be a bit of a minefield!

Great stuff If you're going to be using it for official MP purposes, here's my very quick translation of it so it's at least in vaguely decent English: E-cigarettes are not medicines 17 September 2013 The 13th Senate of the Higher Administrative Court today ruled in three cases that liquids containing nicotine (so-called ‘e-liquids’), which are vaporised and inhaled using e-cigarettes, are not medicines; accordingly, e-cigarettes themselves are not medical devices. In the first case, a suit was filed by a woman who runs a shop providing e-cigarettes and e-liquids in Wuppertal and who had been prohibited from selling liquids containing nicotine by the health department of the city of Wuppertal on the grounds that they are non-authorised medicines. The Düsseldorf Administrative Court dismissed her application in the first instance. On appeal, the Higher Administrative Court granted the application. The subject of the second suit was a press release by the Health Department of the state of North Rhine Westphalia of 16 December 2011, warning against selling liquids containing nicotine as they are medicines, whose unauthorised sale is punishable. Here, too, the Düsseldorf Administrative Court had rejected the application, made by a manufacturer of such liquids, to desist from making this statement even though the Higher Administrative Court had ordered the cessation of this statement in a previous emergency procedure in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia via interim order: such liquids are not medicine, they said (see press release by NRW SAC of 23 April 2012). Here, too, the Higher Administrative Court upheld the application in principal proceedings. In the third case, two businesses that manufacture and/or sell e-cigarettes and liquids containing nicotine filed a suit. They sought a court order against the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Products stating that the liquids were not medicines and the e-cigarettes necessary for vaporising them were not medical products. This suit had already been upheld by the Cologne Administrative Court. The Higher Administrative Court upheld this ruling on appeal. The Higher Administrative Court gave the following essential grounds for the three rulings: Liquids containing nicotine are not medicines by presentation, as they are not labelled or recommended (presented) as means for curing, mitigating or preventing illnesses. These liquids are also not medicines by function. According to settled case law of the European Court, the decision of whether a product is a medicine by function must be made on a case by case basis, taking into account all the features of the product, i.e. composition, methods of use, volume of distribution, awareness amongst users and risks of use. The application of these criteria leads to the conclusion that liquids containing nicotine are not medicines. Medicines are typically suitable for therapeutic use and have a therapeutic purpose. Liquids containing nicotine meet neither of these conditions. Consequently, these liquids are neither suitable nor intended to achieve lasting smoking cessation, they said. The Federal Centre for Health Education and the German Cancer Research Centre and the latest scientific studies all worked on this assumption. The Higher Administrative Court permitted an appeal to the Federal Administrative Court in all three cases. Document numbesr: 13 A 2448/12, 13 A 2541/12 and 13 A 1100/12

Like a big leaky evod More leaking is something I could do without Actually the Evods don't always leak - sometimes they just stop firing for no reason. On some of my Evod heads, mostly those from Health Cabin I think, this is because the centre pin doesn't extend far down enough to make contact with the Evic. They do tend to work fine on a Spinner though. Could be worth a quick investigate?

Most fruit flavours are fine the day after mixing for vaping in my experience. Cap Blueberry, FA Citrus Mix, TPA Lemon - that sort of thing

28 Cupcakes Later & CCW are one and the same AFAIK. So 20% would probably be about right

It's not so much the range as the specific flavour that is key. One flavour house can be great at one, less so at another, and flavourings are rarely the same across the board. E.g. TPA Pear = chemical pear drops IMO, whereas Cap Pear = divine juicy fruity goodness. FA Orange = harsh and true, Flavour West Orange = soft and true. I know at least one mixer who hates Cap VC, but everyone else loves it. FA VC is apparently made with a touch of lemon. It's a bit trial and error, I'm afraid!

Or indeed, Cap Bubblegum is rubbish, try Lorann Bubblegum So you literally can use cake flavoring oils?! I noticed they have PG in them so I presume that's true. Lorann call themselves oils, but mostly they're not. If you want to be sure of using the ones deemed safe, buy them from 28VapesLater, Carrie puts a lot of effort into researching the vape-safe ones. Ditto on Cupcake World (CCW) flavourings. But no, don't vape oil!

Strong flavours - Capella Blueberry, I mix it at 20% and it's just a dream as a standalone. CCW Cream, although not a standalone, is a great mixer at about 2-3%. Make a Blueberry Cream Otherwise, try adding some menthol, maybe 1-2% to your juices, it may help lift them that little bit more. Hey dragon - I am around, just been majorly busy recently! x

I make juice generally at 20% flavouring, 80% VG. I put it in either an Evod, mini Protank or more recently, my Aurora. The latter produces the strongest flavour, but I can always taste the juice. So either your taste buds are shot after smoking, which can happen, and you could investigate such things as powerful mouthwash, pickled onion crisps or menthol; or like dragon says, your voltage or wattage is too low or high, and you need to have a play around to find what works for you. My OH has post-nasal drip (much mucus) which means most sweet juices to him taste like bland strawberry. But he does get more flavour from nutty or mild tobacco-y juices like Longbottom Leaf and RY4 Nutzilla.

If you're having trouble tasting both pre-made and homemade juice, I'd say the issue is likely to be your taste buds, bud What % flavouring did you use and of what? And yes you can tweak recipes after they're made, but you will be messing with the ratios and will likely create something unrepeatable unless you can do the maths (I can't) and record it faithfully. It's OK if you want to rescue something, but perhaps less so if you want to make a decent stock recipe.

Yep - mix your own. Cardamom, ylang ylang, lavender, neroli, black sesame, oba oba, even savoury if you're very brave. If you like bubblegum and unicorn blood, though, it sounds like you like the really sweet stuff - there's all sorts that could suit you Just out of interest where are all of these neat flavors sold? Those are all Flavourarts, I mainly get them from Liberty Flights or from the Italian Flavourart site They are concentrates though, not juices.
