Though to be fair I have spent over £50 setting myself up for mixing and if my juices turn out ok should save some money next month. 2½ months in and every week I've been telling myself I've got everything I need and won't be buying anything else for a while - then I decide there is something else I need to try! This week is mixing

to be honest, the igo is one of the easiest to coil. You could have a go at recoiling nova's or similar if you use those to get some practice in/ To test the coils you can either use a multimeter or a something like a Vamo or another device which has short circuit protection ... an iTaste VV is a good option for this and not a million miles away from a riva plus it is variable voltage ... it might look a bit weird with an igo on it. There are risks to batteries if atomisers short. The other option of course for dripping is the tried and tested 306 ... what Jen said Sounds like I'd need to buy even more bits and bobs - might be a bit too complicated for me at this stage. Earlier this evening I checked out how much I'd spent on vaping this month and it's more than I would have spent on the stinkies!! Though to be fair I have spent over £50 setting myself up for mixing and if my juices turn out ok should save some money next month.

I agree. Have replaced my 306 fetish with these. Cheap as chips in comparison and easier to clean. Just read this; The IGO-L is a rebuildable dripping atomiser, and there for we recommend only experienced users, who have some understanding / experience with rebuilding atomisers, to purchase the IGO-L. You should test each coil before use, to make sure that you are not creating a short which could destroy your battery/mod. Rebuildable atomisers are not as suitable for beginners as you will need some technical knowledge, in order to correctly use the IGO-l, and get the best performance out of it.I'm a real beginner and haven't coiled or rebuilt anything. Would have no idea how to test each coil (or anything to test it on) I'm still at the Riva/Ego battery stage (though do have an Ego twist, so again beginner stage vv ) Anything easier to use?

Most sites that you buy concentrates from give advice regarding % to use! Nope, just checked the 3 sites I have used and none give advice on % ??? So 20% seems about right? What about the waffle and caramel is 15% waffle and 5% caramel the right way round - or should it be 15% caramel and 5% waffle? Thanks Jen and KarmaWhat I haven't got is an atomiser to test my juices on. I did buy this; www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-standard-resistance-atomiser~9 but I tested about 5 or 6 juices over 2 days and then all I got was a burnt taste on every juice I tried so I haven't got around to buying another one.

New to mixing and have made PVC and Skwoddy's Ambrosia - 1 week steeping and I'm being very good and haven't tried them yet but they smell divine I got some more flavours today and need a bit of help with percentages as I'm not sure what to mix at. I have some Capella cinnamon danish swirl which I've read is a good standalone flavour - am I looking at 15% or 20% and do I need to add any sweetener? I also have some waffle and thought I'd mix it with some caramel - again no idea of %, is 15% waffle and 5% caramel a good guess? What sort of % should I add to my nic base for straight fruit flavours? I like a good strong flavour to my vapes. I'm sure once I've made a few I will get the hang of it and work out roughly what to add but don't want to mess up my first few attempts.

F'art Irish cream added. Think I've got enough to be going on with, quite a few combinations I can think of. Got to stop somewhere Thanks again.

Thank you PerpetuaWill go and add those apart from the gingerbread - not a huge fan. Probably should have put chocolate on my dislikes too - love chocolate to eat but haven't liked any chocolate vapes I've tried.

I got my mixing kit this week I bought the flavourings to make some PVC (with a few drops of dulce de leche) - 10ml steeping in the airing cupboard. Having a browse of TAC and in my basket I have some of his 72mg nic base, cinnamon danish swirl and waffle flavours so far. Also on LF and have MTS vape wizard and DV blackcurrant. Suggest some more flavours for me to buy please. I don't like; banana liquorice tobacco - though I do vape RY4 with some fruit mixed in swedish fish I do like; GVC - my main vape Berry fruits Apple pie Liberro smooth mint _ would be interested in how to make a 'smooth' mint - I have some menthol crystals that I have dissolved in PG. As you can probably tell I have a sweet tooth

Well done. If I'd known it was going to be so easy and that I would enjoy it so much I would have turned to vaping much sooner! I've had the odd day where I just can't taste much or things don't taste right - but it's still so much better than a cigarette. Like you I went straight into the vaping from the cigarettes. I've had 2 'puffs' of my Mum's smokes since then just to see what it was like - it was , like tipping an old ashtray into my mouth. I'm just having a go at mixing too (made my 1st earlier this evening ). I also added a few drops of Dulce de Leche to my GVC to give it a bit more 'ooomph' and it's much improved. I've bought an Ego twist - so a beginners VV and it does make such a difference to flavour - I particularly like my menthol at a higher volt.

Well..... I've done it! Ordered; a mixing kit (pipettes, syringes etc) 54mg Diamond Crystal PG base (decided to do my mixes 50/50) PG (guess I won't need much of this) VG Capella Vanilla Custard TPA French Vanilla Deluxe Ethyl Maltol TPA Dulce de Leche Question - as Perpetua's VC is a tried and tested recipe do I go ahead and make 30ml or should I still make a smaller amount at my 1st attempt? Wish me luck

I'm getting more and more tempted into mixing. I spent an hour last night filling a shopping basket - but then I was getting confused over whether i needed 27mg nic base or 54mg - whether I needed pg and vg, whether I needed distilled water or vodka, which pipettes and other sundries I needed, which sweetner I needed...... I even downloaded eJuice me up. So I gave up and went to bed!

Just settled down for a read of that thread OneDay Would take me all night. I'm only on page 4 and I'm already confused. So, a list of what I would need to buy just to make Vanilla Custard would help. Perpetua has a recipe in the opening post but I think she's added changes since and what does TPA stand for ??? I'd be wanting to make it about 12mg nic and do like a bit of vapour. Have only had the 50/50 VGC so far but the 100% vg one is on my list to try.
