Thanks for all the welcomes and additional advice. I'm just reading my way through biscuitcase's thread. She's asked some great questions that I hadn't even thought of.

I'm particularly encouraged by the amount of posts I come across where other vapers have got there 1st kit and haven't thought about having another analogue since. I hope the same happens for me.

Thanks guys! My head was buzzing with all the different terms when I went to bed last night and I had some pretty weird dreams about vaping!!! Ah nbee you cant leave it there, you have to elaborate on the dreams. I'd got my new Riva and was walking around vaping away like some '60's hippy chick and I was high on it and repeating the words 'cartomisers' and 'clearos' to anyone and everyone!!!

Hi Mike, we can be newbies together. I ordered the same kit, from the same seller, with the discount code, last night and have had an email in the last hour telling me it's been dispatched already. I'm hoping Royal Mail do their job properly and that it will arrive tomorrow morning. I'm actually excited and can't wait! I'm anxious about doing it right as there are so many bits and so many potentials for getting it wrong, but I've been assured that it's easy and I've been directed to the helpful instructions from Romelee. I will have them at my side as I try to set it all up! I'm actually looking forward to saying goodbye to the analogues. I've also got a friend coming over on Sunday who has been using nicolites since before Xmas (successfully) and I'm looking forward to showing off my new bit of kit Good luck - we can compare our experiences as we go along.

Do they send idiot proof instructions with the kit? There just seems to be so many parts.

For a complete new starter, one or two that may be worth looking out for are RY4 (can be a bit sweet), HS Storm and one that I particularly liked which was Temptation & Hedges - but again, you may hate those I went for cherry, caramel , menthol and RY4 - and I definitely have a sweet tooth for food, will find out soon if it's the same for vaping

Next question ) - roughly how long would a 5ml sampler bottle last? If I order 2 different flavours will that last me about a week? Should I order more?

Thank you for such a lovely welcome Right.... will take the plunge with the Riva. I'd already noticed that it gets mentioned a lot. Will I get that inhale/exhale hit that I desire? I think that's what is missing most from the nicolite. What flavours do people recommend for beginners. I realise that everyone has personal tastes but what do people tend to go for when they start out? I'm a B&H Gold smoker.

Hi - just registered and have been reading various beginners threads for the last week. I'm getting to grips with the terms but am a bit lost as to where to start. I'm 43 and have been smoking since I was 14. I smoke about 100 a week. I gave up once for a year with the help of patches but that was 6 years ago now. I want to give up the analogues (new term ) for various reasons - health/cost/smell/anti-social. BUT I like and enjoy smoking, so I thought I'd give ecigs a go. I've bought a nicolite disposable and so far have replaced a few analogues a day - 1st one in the morning, 1 after dinner and a mid evening one. I don't smoke during the day at work and have been working the last 3 days so they tend to be my lighter smoking days. No work tomorrow so remains to be seen how many I replace. The nicolite takes away the craving but I'm a bit dissatisfied with the taste and amount of vapour. A long draw seems to give about half the vapour of a normal draw on an analogue. What do I buy? On threads one person recommends one thing, someone else another and someone else another and I'm getting lost. I mostly smoke at home so I don't think battery life is too much of an issue. I'd like something that's easy to use, is not too big and gives me that inhale/exhale experience that I enjoy from the analogues. I don't want to spend fortunes until I know it works for me - which seems a bit daft to say seeing as I spend £38 per week on analogues!
