After a few hrs use on the cleito coil I'm finally getn a nice flavour!!! If only I'd posted this thread mths ago lol!!! So think my problems solved. I'll try it next on my Uwell crown coils. Thanks everyone. Ur a great bunch!!!
Just hope the coil lasts a while. With the juice I'm using ( strawberry and cream glazed donut) I'm having to rebuild the rba head everyday

Give the crown coils a chance to bed in. It takes a few tanks to get them to their best but once they are broken in the flavour is great. I would go as far as saying probably one of the best flavours from a sub ohm tank Cheers. Still have some of the stock Uwell crowns lying about. I'll give them another go and allow them to break in. The crown is one of my fav tanks atm.

The TFV4 Triple heads are the best i've had. Not really a fan of premade heads but those are good, 99% of the time i will just use the RBA option though on any tank. calnorth with regards the popping try a tighter wick that seems to reduce any popping for me. It's a bit of an art finding that sweetspot where you don't get the popping but you're also not choking the flow of juice, but a tighter wick does reduce that popping. This is really just supposition on my part but i think when you have a looser wick you get areas where there is a very slight gap bewteen the wire and the cotton, a layer of liquid pools in those gaps and when you fire the coil that liquid boils, expands and pops. I've used the tfv4 stock coils. Again found them muted. I guess my problem is I'm not letting the coils break in. As I said in previous post want aware it took so long to break in a coil. Either gonna have to have a bit of patience with stock coils. Or just stick with the rba's

Any of the sub ohm tanks I buy with stock coils always taste like crap. I hear people raving about them on forums and Facebook and think maybe this new tank will be different. But it never is!! I've tried all of the various kanger Subtank stock coils. The Uwell crown stock coils (dual and tc) After hearing all the hype about the cleito tank coils I thought I'd give them a go. But still the same crappy taste!!! Even with 1 of the new 5 pack of coils I bought. Unimpressed with all of stock coils I've tried. The flavour I get is very muted and at times unpleasant. I always make sure the coils are well primed and left for a while to soak up plenty of juice. But never makes any difference. So back to the trusty RBA sections. Am I just too fussy or anyone else find this??? are you changing flavours around between tanks ? I found everything tasted "off" months ago when I wasn't getting any flavour out of my kit unti I popped some double strength menthol into a tank and blew my tastebuds away with it, following on everything else tasted much better than it had done before hand. and yes I have found a few crap coils (on average 2 out of 5 is defective no matter where you buy them from) I tended to swap coils with flavours in the early days so I went through 3 packs of stock coils within a week (lots of reseaable plastic bags labled for each one) and that added to them starting to taste poorly quickly, another thing I found was the coils all had a different sweet spot, now I am using rba's 90% of the time, but I need ot change the favours rrunnign through the tank regularly if I leave the wick in for more than a couple of days Hi yes I use a variety of different flavours. From fruity go custards to creamy vapes. All the same in the stock coils. But always use new coils when changing flavours

has anyone thought about it might be crap juice in the first place so no matter what its put in it will still be naff. or vapours tongue. how much difference does the rba make with the same juice. I can assure u it's not crisp juice. It tastes awesome when I use the rba. But for handiness sake I wanted to find a good sub ohm tank with descent coils that I can use when I don't have time or can't be arsed building a coil

I was going to suggest any of the iSub tanks also . . . . not a single issue with the stock coils for me, the heads last for an age xtc263 . There's also the option of an RBA head now should you wish. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/61470/innokin-isub-subohm-tank-stuff?page=1&scrollTo=1060475Although I don't have a problem with the Kanger's - but I do always start low and work up with any stock head that I use, just to allow the coil to ' bed in ' . . . . which might be a fond notion on my part, but I have no issues doing that. Cheers. I'll stick an Isub in my basket next time I'm ordering. How low in wattage do u start to break any of the stock coils in? These cleito tanks recommend 40-60 watts. Any lower than 30 and there's hardly any vaper outta it

Although I'm not a stock coil user I have seen that some of these coils need a bit of break in time and may take a tank or two to really get going. Also start with a lower wattage and don't go full bore max watts when they are new. If you burn the cotton in a coil it's always going to taste bad. What e liquid do you vape? Some thicker liquids may not wick well initially. I knew new coils need breaking in. But when I build my own it's usually 5-10 mins vaping to break in the cotton. Didn't realise it took a tank or two with stock coils!! F...k that!! Don't have the patience for that. My juice is usually either 50/50 or 70/30
