The lower the ohms of the wire coil in your atomizer, the less voltage the battery needs to be putting out in order to get a nice satisfying vape. So a 1.8ohm coil on a 3.7v battery will vape just as well as a 2.6ohm coil on a 4.8v battery. People with ego batteries that put out a regulated 3.3v or unregulated 3.3v-4.2v are better off with a low resistance atty, those voltages aren't high enough to get a good vape off a 2.6ohm atty. Lower ohms just means the wire is a little bit thicker so there is less resistance to the electrical energy. Imagine a water pipe, bigger the pipe = more water flowing through. Your 1.8ohm evod heads will get hotter and give more vapour than a 2.6ohm coil  but the evods coil is at the bottom of the tank so the vapour won't be as warm as some of the "top coil" attys...problem with top coil attys though is you have to keep tipping them up to get juice to the wicks. Sweet spot for me, with a 1.8ohm evod, is about 3.7v - 4v  |

Sounds like you're ok now but also worth mentioning is, if you take it to pieces, sometimes it's easy to forget to put the silicone cup back on, which will cause leaking into the battery.  If it starts leaking/gurgling even with the silicone cup on, it's a good idea to take out the knurled air-post on the head and check the wick & coil are still nice & central in the hole. Sometimes the coil gets twisted off to one side by over tightening the battery, you can carefully move it back into position with a toothpick or tweezers etc |

ouch, unlucky mate..I've never taken an ego battery apart  how did you manage that? have you got a soldering iron? you could just re-connect the wire with a tiny dab of solder? |

might of had some juice in the 510 connector of your battery, which has now got into the charger
you could try opening the charger (unplugged) ..should just be 2 little Phillips screws, see if there is any moisture in there and if so dry it out with a cotton bud.
have you got a multimeter?

24mg isn't massively stronger than 18mg really...unless you chain vape on it without getting used to it first. You could do what Perpetua suggested or if you find you like it, just buy another 10ml of DV Menthol @ 12mg from somewhere..mix the 2 together & you'll end up with 20ml of 18mg |

I will finish my menthol I have on the go then give that a whirl. I bought loads of it from ecigwizard when it was 98p but now I'm mixing my own I don't need it. It's 24mg though..not sure what you vape now, might be too strong |

btw if you like your menthols, I found most of the shop bought ones were not quite as strong I'd like... you can easily give them more of an icy blast by adding a tiny pinch of these. Menthol Crystalsand I mean tiny  you can add them to any juice really...fruits, tobaccos etc if you're getting bored with them. |
