Was just watching it and came on to see if a thread had been started!
It was a load of dross. So anti vaping it's untrue! And the so called offended people they interviewed when the people were vaping was ridiculous.
Also the question do you ask people if they smoke before letting them but an e-cig. Do any retailers ask if you already smoke before buying a packet of fags?? Course they don't.
Absolute rubbish!!

Well since 4pm yesterday only 2 stinkies!! Which is a miracle for me!
I think I overdid it on the vaping and perhaps cut down to the 18mg gold and silver as had bad insomnia last night.

I am on day one of my riva (it arrived today) and loving it so far.
Looking at ongoing costs and it seems very reasonable. I kitted myself out for £60 with spare clearomisers and e juice and a lanyard.
Will keep you updated at how it goes.

It's here!! One battery charged and the second one on charge.
Trying out the vape escape gold and silver tabacco one and its nice. Has an after taste of candy floss and I'm liking it!!
Just using the clearomiser at the moment till I get my head around the cartos.
But I'm vaping and enjoying!

I am expecting all my new kit to arrive today or tomorrow from vape escape.
I have only ordered tobacco flavours so far as I was worried I would miss my analogues too much!
Can people recommend me some flavours to order samples of.
I hate coffee and nuts so nothing with those in. I Love chocolate and sweet things, I wouldn't mind a tobacco mix with other flavours in.
Any advice before I place my order in the next couple of days.

i can recomend gold * silver ( equlivant to b&h ) e juice from vapeeascpe now that does cut the mustard for me I have ordered some of that! I love my B&H and was hoping this was similar. |

You're off to a great start, diva  I see that you have only ordered tobacco-type liquids. For your next purchase, I would strongly recommend that you try some non-tobacco types. Some of the flavours may sound highly improbable as "smoking" supplies, but a lot of us have been very pleasantly surprised  . Some of my favourites are from www.thealchemistscupboard.co.uk/Frogster (as he is known here) makes some damn fine juices. His coconut caramel with hazelnut honey, egg custard tart, lemon meringue pie and pear drops (that's four different juices, not one very complicated one!) are definite faves for me  I was going to order some fruity ones but got scared lol. As I really want to get off the stinkers as I hate them controlling what I do and don't do (everything seems to revolve around me being able to nip outside for a fag!) that I was worried I would miss the tobacco taste! I still love smoking but hate what it's doing to me and my health (going through tests for lymphoma at the moment!) |

I have decided to go for it today and get the pink!! I did really want black but speaking to friend who vapes just now and she put it in perspective that if I'm anything like her (over a year now) I would need batteries within 6-8 months anyway and can get black then. I can hide it under my top at work so not too much of an issue. I just like black!!
So off to place my order!

Hi divadee and welcome Another Riva fan and user. You will not be disappointed with it, not seen one person who has been yet. imo in terms of juices, as a newbie you cannot go far wrong with the sample pack from Mirage Cigarettes. 32 flavours for under £20 delivered. The Cappuccino is absolutely gorgeous and the best juice I've had to date. Their cig-a-like flavours are pretty good too. I'd also order a dripping atomiser & drip tip for around a fiver so you can try out new flavours without using up a cartomiser or having to fill a clearomiser only to find out you don't like it. A few drips and you're good to go. Divadee - if you have another electronic device that uses a USB lead to charge up, like an iphone for instance, you can simply unplug the iphone charging lead from the plug and stick your USB charger in there instead. Works a treat for me! Andy P.S. anything to keep the costs down at the start! I was just wondering about that! I have an iPhone charger an ipad charger and my kindle charger which all use USB connection so I could use one of those yeah? |

I may have to hold off ordering!! I really want the black riva! And out of stock at vapeescape.
I so wanted to get it ordered along with the extra clearomisers and lanyard (to keep it handy for work no pockets in uniform) but white or pink will stick out like a sore thumb on my black uniform. Hope they come back in stock soon.

Hi and welcome Diva, also think about ordering an atomiser so you can try different ejuices with minimal fuss. There's a thread in the beginners section about Dripping and it pretty much covers it all but in brief you can drip a few drops of liquid into an atomiser (atty) to try the juice rather than fill a cartridge or clearo and have to clean them out or possibly with a cart chuck it out if cleaning doesn't work  The hardest part for me has been finding the right liquid to vape, I keep coming back to menthol despite not smoking menthol cigs so that might be an idea to include a menthol in your first liquid order. I haven't liked any tobacco based flavours yet, its all trial and error I tried my friends which was golden Virginia and that actually for me was nice. It was like a analogue ciggy! Trying that last night was what finally encouraged me to go for it. So many of my friends are switching to vaping. They all can't be wrong lol. |
