I really don't see the desperation by vapers to vape on public transport. We seem to have developed a sense of entitlement because we no longer smoke. Most bus journeys are anything from 5 to 30 mins long on average and we can debate the laws until we're blue in the face. But there's still a level of respect to be shown here. If I'm on a local bus (rare occurrence), and someone is wafting RY4 in my direction, I'm going to be pretty pissed off to say the least. If you can't wait until your journey is over, what did you do when you smoked and it was banned? Some vapers act like schoolboys trying to get away with something they've been told not to do. Get a grip and show some decorum, we don't have to vape in every public space just because we think we can. actually my commute is anything between 2-3 hours long. i'm not actually trying it on because i can. when i tweeted greater anglia it was a genuine question and as i mentioned before, ryan air find it acceptable (so it's fine to vape in an enclosed environment but not an open air station) i just find it strange.

We now have Greater Anglia: Dear Mr White, Thank you for your email concerning electronic cigarettes. I can confirm that it is illegal to smoke a lit cigarette on our network, including our trains, ticket halls and platforms. However, passengers who wish to use an electric cigarette are currently not prohibited from doing so as long as it is neither lit nor discharges smoke. I hope you find this information helpful, once again, thank you for taking the time to contact us. Yours sincerely, Natasha Ward Customer Relations Advisor Greater Anglia p hi i'm new. just got told on twitter that e-cigs are banned (without giving a reason i might add). funny how they sell e-cigs on ryan air but ban them from an open air train station :-)
