Put a needle thro the side hole you should see it pass the grommet ..if not push the grommet up a bit more and try again davess |

davess I can't do pics ...  we make a good team Take the bottom off remove the wick look down the shaft and you can see the centre pin I pushed this down with a Parker pen refill ..I then got hold of the other side ie the part protruding from the botom of the threaded section with a set of pliers and pulled it out ...you can then see the grommet again I used the pen refill and pushed the grommet up ...pushed the pin back in from the bottom put the wick back on put it all back together and hey presto!!!! One working nova

davess I had to take mine apart and push the grommet up a little to get mine to work .

My fastech order arrived ...mini nova seems fine standard ones ..all 2 of them ... needed the little grommets pushed up ..now working fine ...thanks for the tips violetblade and robby ... |

Could you possibly use the tank and top part of the nova from fastech and the bottom from one that works therefore not a total loss ? ???...or am I just being silly |
