I am in the same boat as you feller. I was like WOW rebuild, BOOM take ma MONEYSSSS, and then it arrived and after a little DIY/Bodging whilst youtubing video tips I decided it was way WAY WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much effort. HB in Bolton town centre have them, behind the main till quite high up so that's good to see. Very cheap egos considering my local shop has the same thing up for £19.99 !

Not one for shineys and that has to be good for the pocket. I have Provari full and mini with Kayfun 3.1s sat on them both, Sids and a dinky little ego 650mah. I have an Icon (did you hear Puresmoker has gone? ) and a sigelei #13 that don't see the light of day. Not much but enough I have more batteries than mods |

oxo has it bang on, he needs to go through the nic levels slowly,as in switch the level wait a while, it can take a while to get through them but if your Dad is still smoking 5 cigs a day then he is actually better going up in the nic content and getting rid of those 5 cigs a day first. If he's still smoking he might just compensate the lower mg with cigs and that wouldn't be the best step for him.

Edit, James also had someone on from the BMA if that's right. He does ask them some good questions.
And James has been vaping for 6 months so knows what it's like to be a vaper.
Waiting for the show to be available so I can listen again.
