Perpy perpy perpy! I know!
I'm looking at the links and still getting confused.
What's the best little kit you can recommend for me that I can buy and have delivered to my son's for when I get there -
That is easy to use without refilling and all that to start with but which could maybe be used for refilling later when I'm an eggspurt.
That has good batteries (at least two) and I can have a spare atomiser. And strong nico content wotsits.
And might be slightly smaller than this one? (more the size of a real KS ciggie?)
Or better still doesn't look like a ciggie at all! I rather fancy that idea.
And makes loadsa 'smoke/steam' lol! I've decided already that the cloud of smoke is one of the 'satisfying' things about it compared with useless nico patches, inhalers or yukky gum. Psychological obviously.
I could buy it today.
I'm looking at starter kits (still clueless mind you) screwdriver! Gold! Pink! yay!
I await your pearls of wisdom on this.

Oh what wonderful people you are here! It's hissing down with rain and a big storm brewing here right now. Once you 'turn Cypriot' you don't do ANYTHING if it is raining coz there are about 350 days of the year when it ain't raining to do it in!
I will have to swallow the money I've chucked at this - life ain't long enough to argue with Cypriot shopowners about consumer rights and sale of goods and all that - it all boils down to 'Yes - but - NOT IN CYPRUS!'
Perpetua - I am flying into Bristol! I arrive about midnight on the 30th - meet you outside with my kit OK? lol!
Seriously I am now off to check out the two links you posted. Am thinking now do I WANT to spend any more money on this one? Or should I be looking at a whole new kit when I've used up the cartridges or got them replaced or whatever?
I want to make sure I've got enough properly functioning stuff with me to last 10 days or so in the UK.
Thanks again - it cheers me up to come here when I get pixxed off with my lecky faggy!

I'll do it again tomorrow. I've had the 'benefit or otherwise' of a bottle of Merlot and a real pkt of fags since I posted it the first time! I will re-read the responses and remember the questions. Goodnight all and thanks once again. Just off now to sort out the 'Cyprus Problem' lol!

Thanks Jerry. Well with the ones that worked well (foil sealed) the atomiser of course had to 'puncture' them so was well buried in the wadding under the foil.
I will tell you the story of my purchase of this. Went to pharmacy number one. They had some refills but no actual e ciggie.
Pharmacy number two has TWO. One all contained in the fancy box with tiny charger and mains lead thingie. The other with a lead and 3 pin plug fitted just coiled on top of the box and all in a clear plastic bag. I queried this. They said 'they used to come in like that and now they come with the 3pin plug on. As they only had the two - both same type - nothing to compare with.
I bought the one with the plug as we use 3pin here same as UK. Well, when I got it home the first thing I noticed was the rough photocopied instrucs all in Greek. Next thing I noticed was that the battery turned green (charged) VERY quickly. They'd said 12 hrs for first charge. So I tried the other battery and that stayed red. I started to suspect it had been used and taken back.
Then I got to trying out the ciggie once the battery was charged. They'd said you get one FREE cartridge. I screwed it on (it was not a foil sealed one) then noticed INDENTS all round the filter?
First I thought they were design, so got another out of one of the boxes I'd bought - no they were TEETH MARKS! gawd.
I took the lot back and remonstrated loudly. The did the Cypriot shrug and said 'musta been used in the factory' (yeah right)
I said I would take the other one and also told them I didn't believe they now come with a 3pin plug fitted that doesn't fit in the box. That whoever had been using it had fitted the plug. (Another shrug).
Anyway opened up the other one to check it and first thing I noticed was that the ciggie batteries were sealed in polythene tubes. The others hadn't been - pointed this out to them as further proof of it being used (yet another shrug - it's probably back on the shelf for sale - it's like that here - no adherence to consumer laws whatsoever - no refunds etc.) They even tried to take a cartridge off me for the one I'd used in the original one! No way jose.
I just want to get this sorted before I fly over to the UK next Wednesday. Both my son and his lovely wife have kicked the weed. They don't mind me smoking but I just think it would be nice not to foul up their lovely historic home in Bath and not to be tempting them with the smell of baccy smoke either! Plus you now can't bloody smoke anywhere hardly in the UK anyway so I will be interested to try this in the pubs!
I couldn't be arsed with rollups for long when I switched to them in the UK because of the fiddling about. I think what i should do is just get used to smoking the heavy plastic fag before I get acquainted with all the ins and outs of refills and flavours and so on.
So back to the pharmacy tomorrow and I will be telling them the ZERO NICO cartridges are NO use to me AT ALL! They'll be delighted to see me no doubt.
I'm a bit bothered what I will do if the atomiser dies. As I don't know which one to get as replacement and don't wanna buy the whole thing over again. And am assuming I will have no bother getting bits and bobs for it in the UK as opposed to over here where EVERYBODY still smokes and hardly anyone even rolls their own.
YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! BIG THANK YOU and sorry for keep popping in at random and just thinking aloud! But it really is a help to me. Me and my lecky fag are just an 'oddity' here! It's like 'arrr yess I've 'eard of those - give it here' and me 'NO don't put that in your mouth!' lol!
I'm a big fraught with the travel date looming in a week and with work (it already being start of new tax year here and the UK one looming and got to sort my shite out there with HMRC before I go too)
Don't tell anyone but I've just been out to buy a packet of fags lol!

Thinking about it ... why would anyone want NO nicotine cartridges in a replacement cigarette? I don't get it!

Does the atomiser need to be in physical contact with the wadding plug?
And no, I didn't get these cartridges with a 'starter kit' I had to bluddy pay for them separately (and they are 4.75 for four).
And I told them I wanted the strongest poss. And ended up with probably all they had left on the shelf. I am going back tomorrow!
One point - it is BIGGER than a King size ciggie. Both in length and in circumference. And yes, I did see inside the box it says it is a SUPER
I will be the only plonker in Cyprus using this. Can't find anyone else with one or to advise!
Thank you for the ON means NO. What the *&*& would a hardened smoker like me want with a NO Nicotine refill! lol!

I'm getting fed up already - back to the pharmacy tomorrow. The only cartridges that worked properly were the foil sealed ones. The others with a wad and a cap - the atomiser thingie doesn't reach the wad thingie.
I want this to be as super EASY as possible to begin with while I am travelling with it. I will look into all the mystery of it later on.

I feel like I am MONOPOLISING THE FORUM here! I've got so many questions. And since I started looking on the web for replacement cartridges or cartomisers or waddever - I am even MORE confused.
there seem to be all different sized ciggies how the hell do you know if the cartridges will fit yours?
Am thinking of ordering another simple one and having it sent over to my son in UK before I get there at the end of this month.
But have already spent €100 euro on this one and extra cartridges. I can buy 800 ciggies for that over here lol!

With the bit that pierces the foil pushed into the filter before screwing onto the battery. Yes it does screw onto the battery. I am assuming this bit of hardware in the middle doesn't need replacing regularly?

Me again! Have had a good look at what I have got here now.
The cartridges (bits that look like a filter tip) are called ATOMISED CARTRIDGES.
However, the daft bint in the pharmacy has sold me what looks like 3 or 4 different types (all in same boxes tho - just coding different).
Normal High Marl High Low (and a box of 'em with just ON on it!)
They are not all the same either inasmuchas some are like what I am using right now - open top tube with foil sealed thingie in it.
Some have a little cap on the tube and when you take it off you can see the moist wadding stuff in there.
Still others have a sort of soft rubbery ridged cap fitted as a lid and gawd knows what they are about.
I am going back to the pharmacy AGAIN tomorrow!
What I've decided to do is use these easy type things to get used to it and then look into what else I can buy and whether I can get refillable stuff to use with existing cigarette batteries or what.
At the mo I am not in the least bit interested in FLAVOURS - I want it to taste like a smelly old nicotine fag!
Lots of questions occur to me for the future re this refilling stuff - like how do you get on if you are out and about a lot or travelling?
And I'm still puzzled by the comment that the battery probably only lasts an hour. I've just put mine on but it was still working when I did. I am finding the two batteries last across the 24 hours - one all day and one all night.
They told me to expect a pack of cartridges (4 in it) to last about as long as a pack or 2 of cigarettes?
One thing I am wondering about is how you know whether it is the battery or the cartridge that is running down?
I thought it was my batt yesterday but when I put a fresh cartridge in - it worked OK again.
More study required here obviously!

Hi and thanks for all the welcomes. I will upload some piccies tomorrow. I doubt these could be refilled though.
The battery is the white ciggie bit (got two of those) they just screw onto the small charger. The rest of it is contained in the filter tip bit and it is all sealed in foil tightly fitted inside and when you push the V shaped (atomiser?) into the top of it, it pierces the foil then you screw the two bits together.
No flavours available, just tobacco in three different strengths. I've got the strongest coz you wouldn't believe how many REAL ciggies I can go thro in a day! And think if I wanted fruit flavoured baccy I'd stick with the nargyle pipes that are so popular here!
I doubt I could be bothered with all the refilling! I've already been astounded at the amount of add ons and accessories you can get for these things!
But I am a REAL beginner at the mo. Can't really give facts and figures yet awhile.

About the battery. I have two. I put one on charge in the morning and it lasts all day. And put the other on charge when I take that one off.
The only thing I would say I am not keen on so far is that it makes a sound a bit like sucking on an empty straw or drawing air in thro' your teeth. Really don't like that.
