Sorry I haven't been back again. I've had some real life disasters since posting here. My sis was due out soon but her husband has been in a terrible bike accident and will be in hospital for many months. Then I had my wallet stolen! Yes - in good ole virtually crime free Cyprus. And it had more money in it than ever before because the owners of my apartment are coming over to holiday and wanted the rent in cash for spends instead of me doing a BT. Duh. So I've had the nightmare of cancelling and trying to reorder just about everything including my EHIC card and all sorts with long public holidays here and then in the UK and trying to cram in as many hours extra work as I can to make up the shortfall (circa 1K)
The only two things I don't like about vaping with refilling is I hate getting it on my fingers! And even more hate if I get any liquid on my lips or tongue! Until I master the art of not being so messy - methinks I will be using more prefilled ones. And I do still smoke real fags too.
But I will keep you posted. My understudy arrives out here in 3wks time when she's finished her finals - she gave up smoking a couple of months ago (amazed me that she managed it whilst under such pressure - but opportunities to smoke for students are few and far between now with everywhere being smoke free zones). So I definitely don't want to be waving any real faggies about in front of her.
Saved me a small fortune when she stopped anyway coz I used to buy all her baccy here!
As for it becoming 'acceptable' - must say I don't feel any more comfy getting it out than I would lighting up a real one. I think until far more of the population UNDERSTAND that it is not smoke - it will be hard going as it 'looks like you are smoking'.
Should save me on petrol in the summer too - I used to drive with the aircon full on and my driver window half open to let the smoke out lol!
Gotta dash - get to the bank and buy myself a new wallet.

As a veteran user of .... ooo about 3 weeks? I never tried to light my ciggie lookalike but did carefully carry it looking for an ashtray a couple of times! Even with the chrome one, I just CANNOT get used to being able to put it down anywhere! Still feels very odd popping it into my pocket too!
However I decided that if using an ashtray made it seem more like 'smoking' that was not a bad thing and, anyway, stops it rolling off of hard surfaces!

I should also add a recommendation for the superb customer service and personal attention I received from Liberty Flights - and the excellent quick delivery too.
The initial problems I had with being unable to get it to display 'shipping to UK' instead of 'shipping to Cyprus' are, apparently, not unusual with 3rd party checkouts - I've had a far greater one with another online seller since.
Some just don't have the coding right to display any destination other than where they recognise your IP coming from it seems - although with Liberty Flights this does not cause problems and will not result in any delay or delivery address confusion.

Thank you so much for inviting me to your lovely home and taking the time to spend an evening with me for a 'hands on' workshop with the lecky fags! It was an enormous help to me (feel a bit daft for being so confused about it previously now). I doubt I would have persisted without your kind help. When I am in Bath again, perhaps we could meet up but just to go out for a drink and not to pick your brains! (drinks on me!) No.1 son, the chemist got home and immediately researched it all on the internet and came to the conclusion that, even if they are not declared to be 100% health risk free - they are probably not as bad for you as smoking ciggies (which made me smile cos he had been snatching mine off me and happily puffing on it before and after meeting you lol!) His darling wife still cannot believe it is not 'real smoke'  Give that adorable dog of yours a big hug from me and thank you once again. I have just about settled back into being back in Cyprus and apologies for this 'thank you' being a bit belated. Tang xx |

ahh well itinerary is as follows: \today I try register with new doc. \and attempt filling in driving licence renewal and seek out authorised post office. \back in time for arrival of daughter and her new bloke who are staying 2 night. \so it will be Monday at the earliest before I can get over to Perpie. I will liase and get a train and call when there once we've suited good time for you.
Progress with \riva is as follows: put it together and sucked lol! Nothing. held down the blue button (wot the hell is that?) and does produce vapour if you do that?
Not sure if these sealed atomised carts are prefilled or not. \anyway the3y are both fired up and ready to go. \but am using the old one because I understand it lol
\excuse the backslashes - I am struggling hard with this expensive samsung tablet notepad thing - not designed for my hamfist and I am useless with a touchpad mouse too
I will watch the video again in a mo. Have already done the whole of bath town centre and been out to Cafe rouge for lunch and Hole in \wall for dinner and got to hit waitrose for supplies for the family dinner tonight. Then dig out the doctor.
still in shock from looking at the horrible3 passport photos - I looked 50 yrs younger than that when I left \cyprus lol!

I am here Hope to see Perpie early next week. I'm charging it up but have no clue how to put it together properly as there is no diags for inserting the atomized cartridges (whatever that means) I will phone Perp later. \she is out right now and this tiny notepad is hard to type on

I've alerted number 1 son to watch out for it and I've got the orig. one here to take with me. (Bella the little bugger just chewed the end off it but it wasn't the battery end!)
Am determined to meet up with Perpetua when I get over. Big THANKS to Perpetua for holding up my flagging morale late last night!
(Will probably now find they sell them all at the airports lol!) Thinking of last year when I looked everywhere here for a decent 'mini pc mouse' - tiny one on retractable lead. Ended up buying a cheapie bigger one and, as soon as I passed thro' boarding at the airport, was confronted with a rotating stand FULL of the very ones I'd been looking for all over the island!

Didn't use PP, used my Visa. I have my PP auto topped up but keep it mainly for topping up my Skype Out and emergency money transfers within family and friends and the very occasional eBay purchase.
I've got gift addies in Paypal already - too many! I did it for eBay but then found it nigh on impossible to find sellers who were willing to post abroad, or if they did, wanted a king's ransom for postage. I hardly ever buy anything on eBay these days. Too many bad experiences and being in Cyprus making it too expensive to send stuff back if it is faulty.
Did still carry on selling on there for a while after moving here but gave that up when we went over to the Euro and it made my postage look expensive.
Now I am so relieved that I got it sorted. I do agree that the LF site isn't the most user friendly (maybe the black background!)
Wait til I do start in earnest. I can then make a complete nuisance of myself asking for hints and tips. I am already puzzled why so many people use the flavoured liquids. As I don't know anyone who smokes flavoured fags! Apart from menthol of course.
Well I really should start packing a case now. I have the exhilarating job today of trying to explain to the girl who occasionally cleans my flat and one I look after next door that the 6ft pipe and floor attachment of Henry has vanished since she last cleaned and does she know where it went lol!

Hopefully all done! Nice guy called Abe answered my email. In the end I sent him a screenshot to prove it still said Shipping to Cyprus even at the last stage and even after it accepted the UK address. (it's probably a bit of coding that gets the country from the address you register with?)
He said not to worry he will make sure it goes to the UK address.

Back - FFS! I put the Bath Address in the SHIP TO and then clicked to CHECKOUT and it still says
SHIPPING TO CYPRUS
Dagnammit.
I want to phone them really but they didn't answer and havent replied to my email either. I do NOT want it shipped here. Would defeat the whole purpose of buying it.
I've emailed them again and sent it to both the blokes on the contact page instead of just to purchase or support.
I can't take a chance on it going to Cyprus.

Thanks L15A As I recall, the only button to press left on the last page was make the payment.
I will look yet again! I will empty my shopping basket first to see if it makes a difference.
I did look at Paypal but assumed it would go right to the PP registered one there. I've only just got the new UK address confirmed in PP in the last couple of days.

Just checked Riva to start over. Added the 510 to my basket and all it says is
Shipping to Cyprus.
Nowhere to change that.
Would have put my son's address in when I joined.
I'm worn out with it now. If the other site had the tobacco liquid I'd get the last lot Perpie recommended from them.
This is worse than the fiasco I am going thro to renew my photo driving licence! It's even worse than the argument I am having with HMRC at the mo. I have to sort both those things out while in the UK too - at this rate I won't have any time for FUN!
Just tried for the Marlborough it said in stock but when I clicked it it said not and email me when it is. Almost everything I've looked at on the Wiz site is out of stock.
Can't see anywhere to change my account details on the Liberty site - not looking good to get this stuff by Wed now.

Right trying the Wiz site now. The standard tobacco flavour is out of stock. Just having a look what they've got. Don't want it to taste of peanut butter or apples. Just want it to taste like tobacco.
