When you take the spring out of the bottom cap stretch it a bit before re-inserting.

I think the technique used is quite impressive, and CNC engraving seems to offer interesting possibilities for the future. The mod itself is not to my taste, and I am surprised by the branding (which would put me off buying it even if I liked it).
If I was looking to spend that sort of money on a mod then I'd buy another Provari (or maybe even a Mark Bugs). The craftsmanship on either is at least as good, but much more functionality!

Variety for me every time! I find different devices have different balances of qualities, and different strengths and weaknesses. Until I started mixing my own juices I had never tried dripping with an RDA (fantastic flavour!) and this year I intend to try 'squonking' with a bottom-fed atomiser. I do get satisfaction from trying to tune the different atomisers to my personal taste and, hopefully, improving my wicking/coiling skills.
If I felt I had arrived at the ultimate vape I'd probably soon get bored!

This is a truly outstanding atomiser - actually outdoes Kayfuns/Spheroids/Squapes etc for pure flavour. I'm broke after Christmas, otherwise I would be after it myself! Astonished that it hasn't gone already....

I have just bought a wooden box mod because I like wood, and I wanted something I could just put down without worrying it would fall over! That is the one criticism I have about tubular metal mods - they are not very stable, and it is easy to knock one over (or have it fall over because you put it down a bit carelessly). Personally I see the advantages of both electronic and mechanical mods. To date I have mostly used electronic mods, but I'm beginning to try mech mods and enjoying the experience. In the end it's all down to personal taste (and budget!) but I'm all in favour of variety and freedom of choice myself. Luckily sites like this have a thriving classified section - so if you make a purchase you simply cannot get on with you can probably find it a new home

I suspect that the Nemesis will outperform both the Paps and the GG in the mechanical mod stakes - I have been told that the voltage drop for the GG is 0.2 volt, which I believe is pretty good. I tend to use the 'Just GG' with a Kick, and I can confirm that it works brilliantly in that mode for my taste. I'm not sure I understood this. So, if the Voltage drop in the GG is 0.2 how can that be good? xD I set the GG mech mod aside already, I'm not going for the Ithaka anyway which was the big plus for the GG! I like matching things I'll probably stick with the Kayfun's, before diving into the depths of such high wattage's. I doubt that I would appreciate my juices at such high wattages anyway, that's probably better for less intense flavours... Yes it can be good! As I understand it lots of mods have a much larger voltage drop than this. If I recall correctly I saw a review of the Nemesis that showed the voltage drop was around 0.1 volt drop (which is obviously better). The Paps will have a voltage drop too.... though I don't know what it is. There is no such thing as a perfect mod that has no voltage drop, and if you use a Kick then it is of minor significance anyway.

So many subjective factors mean it is very hard to judge for another person. I have Spheroid, Kayfun, Ithaka, and 'Just GG'. If you're going to be mostly using a Spheroid or Kayfun I would go for Provari or Semovar (n.b. Semovar is rather long in 18650 mode!).
I'm definitely not the most experienced, but I don't really see the benefit of using a mechanical mod with either the Spheroid or the Kayfun (apart from aesthetics perhaps). For me both atties perform best at moderate resistances/power, so a regulated VV/VW mod seems appropriate to me. The Ithaka is incredibly versatile in my view - with adjustable airflow and juiceflow, and the ability to use single or double coils. For me it is a very different type of vape to, say, the Spheroid or the Kayfun.- but I think you can tailor the vape a lot with this atty to suit your requirements. The 'Just GG' is a very well-made and versatile mechanical mod with a modular construction. The Ithaka integrates perfectly with any of the GG devices. I have no experience with the Paps.
