Morning all.
Tis 1st December and its a frozen morning BBRRRrrrrrrrrrrrr
The time now is 6.30a.m. (approx)
Ive been up since 4a.m. and not had a cig yet (but its to cold to sit outside so Im not going to)
Ive decided (and done) not to take me ciggies wiv me where ever I go.
That should cut me down quite abit.

Thanx Marj  & Sctlla and MM scylla I havent found that to hard missing one or two places. I just wish I could (and will) miss em all. Ive had partridge once and disliked the taste so much I will never have it again. Twas to graasy. |

Evening all.
I wasnt on yesterday as I was got up early and didnt get on to the net till later on in yesterday evening (like today).
Ive had one packet of ciggies for the past 3 days.
What I mean is is the one packet has lasyed 3 days which is around 6 a day.
Im go along think I must have a ciggy and passing the place and not having till later.
Im hoping that soon I can make a packet last 4 days.
Thats my aim.

Afternoon all Avitar is wonderful Chrissie. Its a beautiful looking cat I got up at 5a.m. this morning and like Scylla said, two steps forward and one step back. Ive been doing extremely well (I think) today. Yes Ive smoked but nowhere near as many as I nearly got to yesterday without the patch. Ive changed when I might want one. Twas 1 every hour (just about). Today its 1 every 2hrs+. Yesterday as I was gonna smoke the last for the night I went outside and lit up. Didnt last long. I put it out as it had started to rain and I wasnt gonna get wet so I went inside & I threw a three quarted length one in the bin (unlit). Felt good |

Good afternoon all. Im failing abit today all because I had a shower this morning. Oh how I dislike showers. Oh we have enough outside dont we  I didnt get my patch on till about mid day when I remembered. Trouble is Ive had 1 or 2 many cigs than I should might have had. Now Ive got me patch on its taking its time to show me it's working. I WILL get back to how I should be doing. I dont know how many Ive smoked but its about 9  Im not happy about it. MUST STOP. |

Hiya Marj and Scylla & Chrissie and all.
Youre quite correct Scylla I am doing well with the patches. Ive gone from about 11-15 ciggies a day to 8-11:)
I dont know why, I just dont want a ciggy like what I was wanting.
Im scooting past places Id smoke and just ignore it. Come to the next place Id smoke and scoot past that.
Id carry on to my next stopping point and ignore that so thats 3 I(ve not bothered about.
I do still have one first thing in the morning but Im not desperate for it and I have me last one of the day about now or an hour later. It depends when my carer arrives.
I think Im doing ok:)

Evening Marj (note I read and remembered;))
The reason I copy and paste is coz my memory is so bad I sadly cant remeber peoples names. Even for a day or two.
I remember to write Stlla rather than c&p cos I remeber now (I think).
Today has been nasty.
The only good bit about it was me waking at 8a.m.
The weather has been moderate till this affy when it rained but its not been as bad as yesterday when it was belting it down.
Trouble is its got VERY very windy and I heard on radio that it'll get even worse.
I think they may have been talking about yesterday.
We'll see.

We know you're out there Tim  If your sleep improves it'll make all the difference to how you feel and cope, so keep up the good work! scylla Im slowly and I mean slowly, cutting down on how many real cigs Im smoking Scylla. Its taking longer than Id like. |

Evening all. I think something is working with me patches. I stop smoking around 6-7pm. Im not using me e cig cos sadly its to higher vape (or whatever its called). Im just trying to cut down manually and doing ok (I think) In just a week Ive gone from smoking 18-20 to smoking 15-17 aday and Ive still got a few more weeks on the patches. Also, sorry, I dont like coming here all the time coz it makes me think of smoking so I do If ya dont see me on its coz Im tryimg. Me sleep is abit better (touch wood). |

Ha Ha Ha Ha. What a twit he was. Id have got me hose pipe out if Id done that but Im not daft (he says afternearly setting fire to himself a few years ago making a cuppa tea. I had the gas ring on and lent over it to get to me tea bags and caught me towelling dressing gown over it and it caught light. Put the flames out by rubbing it down quickly).
