I'd have to get well trained geriatrics, Tibby  scylla and there are plenty of them. i'm sure it's no different in the uk, lol our rescues are overfilled with parrots whose owners have died or are no longer capable of taking care of them. the green guy in my photo is a rescue but still on the young side at 20, hehe remember those days? |

thanks, sycalla! they are a handful but worth it - and don't worry, they bring their own neuroses and won't be interested in yours! so, go for it!
only drawback, if properly fed and taken care of, their life span is close to ours. that makes it necessary to plan for their future .......
