yes, the 0.9 would be into a 10ml bottle and i realise the 0.3ml either way is not going to be a huge difference but the reason i am wanting to know is that some concentrates use 20% instead of 6% which would reduce the finished nic mg by a fair amount if you get my drift.
i'll continue this with you and john on ukv.

my base mix is
3.33ml pg nic ejuice 72mg
2.07ml pg
4.0ml vg
that makes 9.4ml at 60/40 leaving me to add 0.6% of any flavour to give me a 24mg finished nic strength.
what i am trying to figure out is say if i used 0.9% flavour instead of 0.6% what would my finished nic strength be.

thanks for the replies. i know i can buy it but i'm wanting to try and make something similar myself. i spent a small fortune on concentrates so if i can come up somewhere near, that is what she'll be getting.

i have 10ml of red astaire 24mg and 10ml of 16mg which i am going to mix together to give 20ml at 20mg, both are 70/30 pg/vg. if i want to cut it from 20mg to 16mg using only vg, approx how much vg would i have to add in to achieve it. i realise that it will also cut the flavour a bit but its for the wife so i'm not bothered  . many thanks almac |

Tis partly in the mind. You thinking it was 24mg satisfied your subconscious I guess, kinda like a placebo effect it's all in the throat hit for me carpe. can't get a hit out of 18mg premade but can out of the way i've been mixing it. as they say, trial and error, oneard and upward and all that  |

almac you will end up having around the 17mg mark. that's what i figured out. can't believe that's strong enough for me tbh. all the premade at 18mg i've tried does nothing for me. will mix an 18 and 24 properly next time and see what happens, be great if i can get away with 18mg. thanks for the help rom. |

almac . . . . in the top box you input your nicotine base strength and it's composition, the box under your desired finished strength. Then in the PG/VG boxes, the finished ratio's you'd like to achieve:  yeah, i realise that off your last post rom. what i was wondering was, if you get your calc up and do it with the 72 in the pg which would auto put 28 in the vg and 100 in the mg, with the target strength at 24mg. what would the actual nico strength end up. i can't get my head round that bit. cheers if you can work it out m8. |

oh dear, looks like i've been doing it wrong  , only done about 12 mixes since i got all them concentrates off you but they've all been ok  . so looking at your correct way next to mine, must mean that my 24mg target nico strength actually works out about 30% lower than yours meaning mine will prob only be about 17%. can you check that for me m8. my base is 72% pg also. |
