I used to buy isopropyl alcohol in bulk for cleaning glass for photography and can't get it any more, so just told them I use it for cleaning fingerprints off glass for my images

Lol donov6 well done, so many people forget about cleaning connectors etc! If you know anyone who works in a hospital ask if they can get you some out of date alcohol swabs, they're very handy too! You could also trying your local independent chemist, I'm a photographer and they give to steri swabs for free (500 per pack) from the needle exchange program they run for local addicts. I'm not an addict before anyone gets that impression! But I always make. Small donation to the program as a thank you. |

Some times as well the little sealing ring rolls over slightly and the base will not allow the threads to mate up properly. Just thought I'd mention that one for you as 2 of mine have done that today

I noticed that in "Grizwalds Guide To Mixing" he mentions buying VG from Tesco's (other major supermarkets are available) in a 38ml bottle for like 50p or something. The one i believe he refers to is by Supercook.
