I noticed that in "Grizwalds Guide To Mixing" he mentions buying VG from Tesco's (other major supermarkets are available) in a 38ml bottle for like 50p or something. The one i believe he refers to is by Supercook.

Boots is where I always get mine as well . . . even though they did put the price up from 89p, it's still very good value.

There are NO sore throat additives in Boots VG. Glycerine has long been recommended for help in easing sore throats.

You are probably right Roger :Dbut since I am pretty new to this mix lark I like to err on the side of caution.... give it a couple of months and will probably be standing in the queue at Boots lol

Glycerine has long been recommended for help in easing sore throats. Indeed Roger . . . when I first got my current doggy he had the most hacking Kennel Cough, so I mixed up a solution of VG and a little Manuka Honey which I regularly syringed down his little throat. I'm convinced it helped and made him a little more comfortable.

There is no caution to err on the side of. The online stuff is OK as well. The Boots VG is 100% glycerol BP. I was just concerned about you putting ' so no worries about any additives for sore throats etc'.
