Thank you both Hello Britt and welcome, I am avoiding PG as well. I don't have as strong a reaction as you seem to have, but it is a similar feeling. It is not really easy to find pure VG juices and so I am mostly mixing my own. Unfortunately, most flavourings are PG based, but as long as I am not over 20% or so PG in my juice, I don't have a problem with it. Next step?? Try to somehow get an atty that actually look good on the LT, can't say the mini nova is a stunner on there, lmao. That have to wait for a little while though..Britt I reckon you'll need something big on there - maybe a Protank or iClear 30? It's not exactly a delicate bit of kit, is it?  Well, the diameter of it is 22 mm or so.. Length is 12.5 cm, with flat top. So I for sure wouldn't call it tiny (and now I'm talking about the lavatube, nothing else ) Britt |

Duke It was frightening, it was as if my lungs just shut down or collapsed or something, and it took a good few seconds before I could draw in any air again. That's the reason I need to muster up some courage before trying to reintroduce it As it is now I'm trying to slowly up the nic strength to see if that will remove the last cravings for stinkies.. And also want to try VV to see if I can get a smoother vape even if I up the nic.. Just waiting for batteries to arrive for the LT I happened to get for real cheap Next step?? Hi Britt, and a warm welcome from Scotland. I also had a reaction to pg, my face started to come out in a spot type rash, now that didn't happen straight away, I had been vaping for three months before it showed its ugly head. It took me about a week to think that it was maybe caused by vaping, so the usual done a bit of research and found others had the same problem. What I have done was to dilute my pg with vg, didn't want to cut it out totally because I still like to get the throat hit, so whatever I'm mixing it's now 50%pg and 50%vg Now no longer get the irritation on my chin, maybe worth a go, by the way what reaction do you have to it. It scared the **** out of me to be honest, lol After a lot of questions and advice I found that the probable cause was the PG. But I also suspected too high nic level at 18 mg/ml so I reduced it. I also tried for days to find different techniques to draw until I got the pure VG and could use the kit without a problem I am going to try to slowly introduce PG again, I just have to work up some courage first Britt |

Welcome Britt, every 1 less stinkie a day is a step in the right direction. Well done !! Thank you That's what I feel too And even if I still have a few stinkies a day I can feel the difference from how it was. Especially on my lungs. I don't get out of breath for every single little thing I do any more, I can walk up the hill or up the stairs without having to stop to catch my breath I know I still have some to go, but everything helps Britt |

Are you looking to step up your kit now? Anyway. Welcome to the forum. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 I have upgraded some already. Using mini novas and an igo-s now. And waiting for batteries to use with the Lavatube I've got. Unfortunately I've caught the shinyitis without the means to do anything about it  I also barely dipped into some DIY e-liquid to see if I can find a nic-level that suits me perfectly. And of course to try out different tastes. Too bad it gets too expensive for me to get everything I want  Another reason I decided to start DIY is that "most" juices have some pg in them, and I don't want to risk trying that again just yet.. It's a journey for me it seems, but I'm glad I didn't give up when I met the problems to begin with  Britt |

I just want to say hello I was a 40 a day smoker up until a little over a year ago, then I managed to cut down to around 20 a day. Moving to an apartment where I'm not allowed to smoke inside helped alot Around 10 Weeks ago I tried a cig-a-like from a friend of mine and that started me searching internet for e-cigs. I was reading for days, just digging into all the wast info I found, and finally 9 weeks ago got my own starter kit. I went for a dual ego v2 kit with ce4 clearomisers. Got the kit just 2 days later and couldn't use it  . After long discussions and lots of help on another forum (one member being really kind in sending me some samples of pure VG to try and see if I could use that) the problems were identified and I could get something I could use. Yes, I had a reaction to PG.. Unfortunately I'm not quite of the stinkies yet, but getting there Anyway the 3-5 a day I take now is a huge improvement from the 20 a day I used before starting vaping As you probably figured out by now, I'm still searching for *my* setup to get completely off the cigs.
