You have some notches to play with so if you want to save the adaptor, use them, back of a blade, steel rule, anything that will fit snug and give you leverage while put downwards pressure.... If not and you're willing to sacrifice the adapter then a wrench of some sort will take it of, if you go large enough it will take it off in instantly, just try to keep it square/non angled/ straight etc while doing it to try to save the i sticks threads, they may be gone already, hence it's stuck.... edit...you can do the above and wrap some elastic bands around the adapter to make sort of soft grips, that may save the adapter too What VapingBad has linked to are also known as footprints if you know any plumbers they will own a set.. I'm not sure what you mean by the top bit mate as can't seem to fit a knife anywhere (what do you mean by notches?) Tried the spanner way numerous times but its just will not shift at all, the elastic bands just disintegrated when I tried that route can't believe its happened to both, fair enough the cheaper one, half expected that but its only lasted a week ...less in fact half a week ..meh He means that the top of the adapter has four slots that are lower which mean that a knife or something else thin and sturdy can be used like a giant screw driver.

Thanks folks I'll give the 1.2's a go as well. another question though, is the dia. the size of the hole you wick?? because having dodgy eyes it looks like the 1.2 would be easier to wick, I'm more into Flavour and from what I've been reading lower ohms are better for that, I pressume they would be Ok on the 20w Istick,, 2.4ohm / 0.25mm dia. (30 AWG) / 15*15mm leads 1.25ohm / 0.38mm dia. (27 AWG) / 15*15mm leads Mow,,, Your assumption about the dia. is correct.
My 20w istick fired a 1.1ohm coil.

If you want higher ohms then those should be perfect.
You might want to get some lower ohm ones to experiment with since they are so cheap.

While I am all for you buying more kit , I'm surprised that you are having problems with the nautilus. I would check that everything is screwed together properly and fiddle with the airflow a bit. Airflow affects gurgling as much as it does the "feel" of the vape. Basically I wouldn't give up on them quite yet as you should be able to get a good vape out of them. The alternatives are many and varied, but it is worth understanding the kit you have already before buying too many other things as you may encounter the same problems simply because you don't yet understand how it all works fully. Gurgling means that too much juice is getting to the coil, this can be because your battery is underpowered, your airflow is too low or the juice is too thick or too thin. It can also mean that a seal somewhere isn't sealing properly. It can also mean that you are simply needing a new head, as they do get gunked up after a week or so. If you are cleaning the heads then it may well be that you are doing something wrong in that process as well, and I would certainly leave off cleaning coils in the first few weeks of vaping until you have got your head around a lot of other things. The kit you have SHOULD be fairly hassle free, if used correctly. Thanks for your help. Please don't look at this list as being crude just trying to answer some of your points. I have posted in the past couple of weeks about all the issues I have and I went through all the checks that people kindly offered. Just can't work out how the post the link in this thread DOh! Yes everything is screwed together properly (read lots on the tight but not too tight threads) Yes fiddled with the airflow and it seems to only work in a fashion on 3.8v and 3rd airhole (tried all combinations) I don't mind the gurgling so much as at least I know its firing, its the spitting thats putting me off. Battery has been one of the main suspects as OH does not spit as much as mine, upping to 4.3 simply makes it worse. 1st head lasted 1 day, 2nd head around 3 days or there abouts (nothing like the week I was expecting). Not sure how to clean heads although I have an ultrasonic cleaner now! Every time I refill, I mop coil, airflow, chimney, tip and everything else with cotton buds or slithers of kitchen roll (all except inside glass tank wall). Hence why I feel at a loss with this kit. Been vaping around 2 years first on cig-alikes then managed on ce5 clearomisers & ego-t batteries. They worked well, although we thought we were ready for the next step up, as the clearomiser set up was not as good as it once was and I wanted a tad more cloud. I need something I can take out the box, fill up and enjoy whilst I wrestle the mini nautilus into submission. It's a genuine kit too. I don't keep up with the forum properly, so sorry for any repeating advice
I would be tempted by the subtank mini, were I you, with the 1.2ohm premade heads (keep the rebuildable "bit" you might want it later) To use this, you will need a battery that can cope with the low ohms.
If spitting is the only problem then a longer drip tip can make a big difference (as in the spitting doesn't reach your mouth). If you want high power then spitting is more likely.

I had an acrylic stand arrive broken from FT. I sent them pics and they refunded without any fuss or bother. It is the only time something has arrived broken.

What material is it made from? Looks a lovely piece! It's made of meerschaum. Not sure exactly what that is, but it is like soft stone, very nice to hold, not cold and hard. Its a traditional pipe making material.

After a lot of soul searching I have decided to sell my pipe. I call him Puff, but you can rename him so long as you don't tell me
He takes 18350 batteries, is unregulated and has a fuse (will send spares)
He is 510 fitting (shown with an ego adapter which I'm happy to send if you want me to.)
He has been well used and loved and has a lot of character
I'm asking for £70 including registered post.

Time to clear out some stuff

The silicone seal is slightly discoloured from Red Astaire. 1 BDC coil (came with the tank) 3 BVC coils. Everything is original to the best of my knowledge and is in good, but not perfect condition. I don't have the box as I thought I was going to keep this one, until I discovered Lemos If you recoil I have some used coils I am happy to include if wanted.
