Hubby is a pipe addict, says it just sits in the hand better, he refuses to use a "stick" however fancy. In the back of my mind I am trying to find a VV pipe for him for a chrimbly prezzie, but no one seems to make them

Do you put any protection in your mods, or do they need protected batteries?

Someone mentioned debauchery ... could we have some of that in the queues to make it more interesting for us spectators?

taz96 I cook like that too, and mix a bit like that as well, it really doesn't have to be complicated and it is seriously cheaper (unless you start an obsessive collection of flavourings ) Make up a big bottle of "base" ie your pg/vg/nic the way you like it (allow for 10%ish less nic, and a tad more pg, once you add flavour) and then mixing involves smaller bottles and flavour ... easy peasy It is worth jotting down your smidgens and dods of flavour (how many drops per bottles is the simplest unless you want to use syringes or pipettes) so you can replicate your successes, but other than that it's a no brainer

Eek it's all a bit scary! Is there anything at all that doesn't need filling up? Like, preloaded or something? Or have I totally got the wrong end of the stick? I think baby brain is making this seem much harder than it probly is, I used to be a proper clever professional person and now I am baffled by a little bit of tech! You can go the prefilled route ... but I doubt anyone will recommend it, the systems available tend to be over priced and not nearly as good. The refillable ones can be very simple, a better vape and above all a whole lot cheaper in the long run.

I have to recommend the evod kit (again) cheep here : myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.htmlfancy colours here : www.ukecigcabin.com/product/kanger-evod-starter-kitIt is simple well built and in my eyes stylish to boot. You need to get some liquid too, I am a big fan of decadent vapours (mix my own, but you can get it premixed) www.decadent-vapours.com/en/408-e-liquidsEvery single vapour will recommend a different liquid, in the end you will have to suck it and see Remember that different nicotine levels can make a big difference, as can the amount of pg and vg. The website I linked to will mix it for you in different nic strengths and either 100%pg 100%vg or 50/50 I love their real banana in 100% vg, but the other vapers in the family think I am .. well bananas There are loads of sites for liquid ... other people have tried more of them than I have

Just to kidnap the thread (sorry) Jen what makes you say the eVic has more "oomph"? A spinner etc gives more volts on demand, which is a boost .. what makes the eVic different (apart from the adjustable settings etc). I'm not being pernickety, I'm very curious

Mixing sounds complicated, especially if you look through the recipe threads. If you stick to single flavour mixes in the beginning until you find your feet, it is astonishingly simple There are loads of flavours out there that are excellent vapes all by themselves. Just like trying new liquids you can end up with some flavourings you don't get on with, but once you find ones you do, then it is all fun from there on in

I don't get on great with metal drip tips, too cold somehow, and I love the vase shape. I got a mini davide, it does perform excellently, but it is seriously airy. I blocked one hole, which is a little better, but am scared of blocking any more. It makes clouds of vapour however, and not a gurgle in sight for me either I am just not a BCC girl at heart I've heard it said that BBCs often give more flavour, not for me ... I am just weird across the board

But then I need to get more clearos ... which means more drip tips .... which means agonising, sleepless nights and general unhappiness Ok, so I have more clearos ... what would happen if one broke and I didn't have a spare in the right colour? But drip tips ... it is my personal obsession and I PROMISED myself I was going to stop now I am on a "try new flavours ban" due to the knock on effect of finding one I like

Welcome to the forum You seem to have thought it all through fairly well You will probably waste a little money finding a liquid that really works for you, don't buy too many samples at once, every mistake will lead you closer to what you will like. Also, as I'm sure you have read, after a few weeks your taste and tolerance for nicotine levels will probably change. I had a deal with myself in the beginning, that as long as I spent the same or less than I would on cigarettes then it was ok to experiment. Once you discover what you like and what you don't the cost drops considerably, especially if you mix your own liquid which is a lot cheaper, and allows me to adjust nicotine levels at whim without it costing any extra. A good battery should last a few months, but accidents can and do happen. Good luck on your journey

I don't like the idea of the LED, some have the LED sitting in the liquid and god only knows what chemicals may leech into the liquid. The pipe stem only costs more that the tank and pipe stem I linked to, then you'll need a tank & carto if you don't have one already. Agreed, but not everyone likes carto tanks. The stem is a 510 fitting, so will fit most attys people already have
