Hi all, I am completely new to all this, I have got a little baby girl and whilst I managed to stop smoking while I was pregnant, since she was born I have gradually let myself get back into rolling tobacco and am probably on about 5 rollies a day now. I am really keen to quit as obviously it's not good for my little girl - I don't smoke around her ever but even so. I was given a SkyCig starter kit which I find OK but it hasn't really been good enough to give me the strength to totally ditch the real ones, but having read through some of the reviews it seems like I may need to look into something a bit more specialist and then I might find I get a really satisfying experience. So, the problem I have is that with my little one to look after I really don't have the time to mess about too much with mixing juice and filling things up and so on. What would you expert lot say is the best and simplest thing for me to try that will be a step up from the SkyCig but without needing too much time investment?
Thanks in advance x

missbunbury... and congrats on giving this lark a go... you won't regret it. I'll leave it to others, who will be here in a flash, to give their technical advice. ETA: See... ^^^Rosco got there before me!

Eek it's all a bit scary! Is there anything at all that doesn't need filling up? Like, preloaded or something? Or have I totally got the wrong end of the stick? I think baby brain is making this seem much harder than it probly is, I used to be a proper clever professional person and now I am baffled by a little bit of tech!

Anything that starts with 'pre-' ususally means more expensive. If you can pour a drink, you can refill with all the flavours you can imagine. Have fun.

I have to recommend the evod kit (again) cheep here : myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.htmlfancy colours here : www.ukecigcabin.com/product/kanger-evod-starter-kitIt is simple well built and in my eyes stylish to boot. You need to get some liquid too, I am a big fan of decadent vapours (mix my own, but you can get it premixed) www.decadent-vapours.com/en/408-e-liquidsEvery single vapour will recommend a different liquid, in the end you will have to suck it and see Remember that different nicotine levels can make a big difference, as can the amount of pg and vg. The website I linked to will mix it for you in different nic strengths and either 100%pg 100%vg or 50/50 I love their real banana in 100% vg, but the other vapers in the family think I am .. well bananas There are loads of sites for liquid ... other people have tried more of them than I have

You can go the prefilled route ... but I doubt anyone will recommend it, the systems available tend to be over priced and not nearly as good. The refillable ones can be very simple, a better vape and above all a whole lot cheaper in the long run.

Buying prefilled cartomizers can work out much more expensive than filling your own. It takes only a few seconds to fill a clearo and you are good to go for quite a while. A 1.6ml clearo you would maybe fill twice a day depending on how much you vape. Welcome to the forum Missbunbury

missbunburyWell done - you've made the first step & come here (well, 2nd step as 1st was skycigs) Yes - you can get prefilled cartos - my experience - might as well suck on a boiled sweet As for filling a clearo - can you tie your own shoelaces? If yes, go for clearos. They're easier to fill than tying shoelaces and it takes about 7 1/2 seconds to do. Get clearos with replaceable heads - evods already mentioned are a good choice. When the flavour goes a bit funky, replace the head - that takes about 12 1/2 seconds. Getting angry and puzzling over other stuff always takes over a minute, so you're on a winner with clearos. For the amount you smoke, I would guess that you'd need to refill a clearo every 2-3 days and replace the head, bit more difficult to judge, but depending on flavour, every week to every 3 weeks ??? As you can see, the refillable/replaceable route does not take much time, & I'm sure you'd get a better vaping experience. The blister pack from paradisevape (previously linked) along with a bottle of juice would be a good cheap choice, to see how you get on Good Luck

Well, I like the look of the ones you linked to but am a bit daunted by the technicalities - if I were to get one of those, is it super fiddly to fill it up? How often do you have to fill it? And how often do you clean it out? I am thinking back to my student days when we used to do something *similar* to vaping (ahem!) and the mess was a nightmare!
