Postage is free from here ebnferro.com/onderdelen-1/heads-coils-wicks/kanger and the prices are excellent. They say to expect postage to take 2weeks, I have yet to have it take more than a week (to Denmark). They aren't cheaper for everything, but a lot of things are significantly cheaper from there, than most places, with the added advantage of being within Europe.

As perp said, the newer equipment out there copes superbly with heavy vg fluids. IMO (and I confess I am a bit weird ) Then they cope even better with less water added than is the standard wisdom. Vaping equipment is evolving really fast, and sometimes it is hard to keep up. I am sensitive to pg, I can tolerate some, but I take care not to cross the line. I vape home mixed 100% vg diluted with 5% demineralised water. I have 0 problems with wicking and as yet have no problems with phlem etc. I have had problems in the past with premixed vg juices and gurgling/condensation issues. I am convinced that lowering the water content solves this (due to experimenting once I started mixing my own) Now that I am so used to 100% vg (and yes most of my flavours are suspended in pg, so 100% is not entirely accurate, but I rarely mix at more than 10% flavour) I find pg juices really harsh, and don't mind at all that I can't use them much anyway.

The blister pack battery does perform well, right up until the button stats to stick, and it just doesn't feel as good in the hand.
The evod batteries feel like quality, even the charger feels more robust. The vape is more consistent as it is a set output of 3.7v. They look better and basically overall IMO is a better use of money, even though the blister pack is cheaper.

The batteries in the evod kit are top quality, and should last for ages. Like Perpetua said, you can always get other things to use on them later if you so decide. In the mean time the 2 evods and the replacement heads should keep you going for a while There are a great many kits out there, especially if you start looking at VV batteries, but it gets more and more complicated. The evod kits didn't exist when I started, but if they had, then I would want someone to point me there first. Unfortunately vaping is very much about personal preference and so we can only tell you what we like and don't like, and from there on in it is up to you. The blister pack is good value for money .... but the battery isn't the best quality, and the CE5 is outdated and outperformed by some of the newer equipment. For me at least, it is £7 I'd rather not spend before getting something with a more quality feel and performance. (plus you really need to get 2 because with vaping you really do need a spare battery and clearomiser)

They both work in sort of similar ways. The evod kit is more likely to work consistently and for longer, and includes 5 new heads, so will last a lot longer. The blister pack is a great way to see if you like vaping, but you will soon move on to something better, once you are committed to vaping. An evod is a BCC (bottom coil clearomiser) which means that the vape is slightly different, but only personal experience will tell you what you like best, we are all different

You could try a high or 100% vg juice, Liberty flights have a fairly wide selection of 100% vg ready mades. What level of nicotine are you on atm? That might have something to do with it too. I react weird to some of the flavours, I think it is one of the sweeteners but I have never narrowed it down, I just avoid anything I react to. I mix my own which makes it really easy to mess with things like vg/pg ratios and nic levels very cheaply. I hope you get it sorted soon, and welcome to the forum

I had that happen a few weeks ago, I was out and about and suddenly my evod started spewing liquid. I assumed it was a gonner, but when I got home I cleaned it out, left it to dry, reassembled, and it has been fine ever since ... can't explain it at all. First and only time I have had this problem with an evod.

This is a great kit, looks great and performs brilliantly. myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.html You can get other colours from other vendors, but that one is a real bargain price

Think the wicks on the 30s are longer (are certainly thinner and more of them) surely you could trim them though? They are definitely the same screw fitting, and when they were first released, they said both fit both, but now they don't say that so ......

I'm still amazed and delighted that giving up smoking was so easy. Welcome to the club

Some say yes, some say no. They certainly fit both, but have heard that the actual wick can be a pain. I haven't tried it myself, so I can't do more than pass on second hand info.

Don't worry .. after you have wasted a fortune finding what batteries you like, what attys you like and what liquids you like, and then bought spares for your spares in a rainbow of colours, the addiction does start to wane

For me, on a "normal" ego battery, I would get the 2.0 iClears.
You can sometimes find 2.2ohm evods, which are perfect IMO. I use 2.5ohm at the minute because I got 5 replacement heads with a kit I bought. They are ok ... 1.8 is too low for me without a VV battery.
At the end of the day it is personal preference, and depends what juices you are filling them with.
