Thanks KarmaI'll check these out. was really looking for something pyrex with sleeve and a window so I can see the juice but this will definitely solve the cracking issue. Anyone have any other suggestions? different brand of tank perhaps? By the way the guy at Emporium vapour, Sean, is sound as, and will let you try any flavour before buying. Anyone in the Glasgow area should swing by and say hi to him. he's right at the back of the instores part of the Forge

Hi all I just got my lovely SS vamo from FT and it came with 2x vivi novas. I've filled one with Apple pie and custard juice from the newish vape store (emporium vapour) in the Forge, Glasgow and the tank has cracked within a couple of hours. My old ce4 did the same with this juice too but I put that down to cheap ce4s,. So I have a couple of quetions. first are FT Novas legit and what clearo / carto would people recommend? Apple pie is my favourite flavour so far and but it has destroyed two attys already. Are ther any pyrex tanks, preferably with a SS sleeve to protect it? Ok so that was three questions thanks in advance ps I've searched the forum but the search doesn't return any results for "pyrex" or "glass". (or it's operator error!)

Oh No! did I miss it?
just got my vamo with 2 "vivi nova's" from FT but not impressed with the Nova. not much of an improvement on my old ce4s other than less leakage.

I just got back from a trip to Barcelona and thought I'd share my vaping while travelling experiences.
1. Prestwick Airport security: As an experiment I put 3 x 10ml bottles of juice and nothing else in my ziplock bag. First thing was the look of puzzlement on her face, followed by the question "What's in these?" despite them being labelled (Totally Wicked pre mixed). I replied they were nicotine solution for my E-Cig which I showed her. Off she goes to speak to her guvnor and comes back saying "they're ok but your bag is too big". I kid you not. I lost my cool a bit especially when she directed me to a vending machine which sells 4 "correct" sized bags for £1. Next to a large sign saying "1 bag per person allowed" Pretty raging I bought 4 bags to use one and another hapless traveller got a free one as he had similar dimensional issues with his bag.
2. On the Ryanair flight I wait for the announcement that they sell e-cigs which "can be used on board as well as airports and other places where smoking is prohibited" I fire up my eGo, cautiously at first but no comments from anyone, so I puff away when I feel like it for the whole flight.
3. Airport and bars etc in Barcelaona. No issues anywhere despite not seeing another vaper the whole trip. I was even puffing in the Camp Nou stadium commentary box!
4. Barcelona Airport on the way home I decided it might be difficult to explain what the juice is in my 3 words of Spanish so I put my juice in my hold luggage and one 10ml bottle in with my GFs toiletry bag. Had my eGo full but no problems at all.
5. Return flight I started vaping as soon as we took off and apart from a few inquisitive looks from other passengers I had no problems at all.
So the moral of the story is.... use the right size bag! It is interesting that my GF had 3 x 100ml unlabled bottles of liquid soaps/shampoo which were allowed through unquestioned but my labelled bottles flumoxed her!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Don't have any custom recipes, just following the suppliers instructions but not too impressed with my first batch.
I'll be heading over to the mixers section before my next batch!

Hi All Just joined thy forum, been vaping for a couple of months using eGo ce4s and now started mixing my own juice.
Just had a (mostly) positive experience at Prestwick and Barcelona airports which I'll stick in another thread.
