Have you watched griegsters coil buddy tutorial lairey? Worth a watch as well as shinys guide. If it's gurgling it could be because the resistance is too high for the voltage you're using, or it could be too little cotton in the juice slots resulting in flooding. On our Protanks I thread the cotton through as normal, then double it back on itself but over the top of the coil, I use a pin to hold the loop outside the slot, double it back to the other slot then put the chimney on trapping the cotton, then both ends of the cotton sticking out the same slot are trimmed up. Rarely ever get a gurgles this way! You will probably find with cotton that you have to change the wick more frequently but of course you don't need to make a new coil just remove the cotton, dry burn the coil then rewick  |

I've used cotton in microcoils in the KFL boyofford, next trick is to try a ribbon microcoil, I think the extra surface area is what's doing the business. I'd try it now but I'm struggling to focus properly  |

I picked up a kayfun 3.1 clone if the classies recently and decided to set it up this evening. I've got an original KF lite and I've always coiled that with a figure of eight of 3mm silica and five wraps of .2 kanthal, this time I thought I'd try using .5 x .01 kanthal ribbon, 6 wraps on the same silica. Settled down at about 1.7-1.8 ohms and I made sure it wasn't too tight to the silica, I'm vaping red Astaire in it right now, and I've got to say it's another game changer! Absolutely brilliant vape and it's making the already great RA taste like another juice! thought I'd hit the ceiling in terms of flavour, cloud and throat hit with The Rose, this set up has made me think again, I can't wait to put the same wick into the rose tomorrow, I highly recommend you give it a try  |

I'm going mad waiting.... for my fasttech pretty bottles to arrive. ironic I've 100 cheap bottles here but don't want to mix using them. Ha ha I did that too, then threw out a bagful of non matching bottles when they arrived  Must be a bit of shiny's OCD starting to rub off! |

Yup sammy13 I can't be doing with mixing a mil of this and two mil of that and 15 drops of the other! It does my head in and the results are really varied, only managed to find three mixes I can vape long term, mixing that way. These are all one shot flavours, I'm hoping we like half a dozen or more so I can mix them in bulk, once a year would suit me fine! |

I share your frustration mate! Just got to bite the bullet and work through the flavours. When you say you buy the cheap ones off eBay, do you mean juice or ce4s? A good site for 1ml samples Smoke rainbow they do packs by brand or by flavour type which are really good value |
